I need a very happy, NON-ANXIETY strain... Want to begin hunting phenos.

if you can wait until 2013, mandala's 8 miles high kicks much ass! it has a fun playful sativa high with enough psychoactivity to make music and dancing a blast, but has a mellow personality that's neither stoney nor racy. it's my favorite 24/7 strain. it's like a supermodel that keeps nudging you "come on! let's have some fun!"

kali mist has super high euphoria levels, but is too racy to sit down on and is more clear headed and goal oriented. it's perfect for work and play, but won't let you sit still

joey weed's C99 had a very similar buzz, but maybe not as energetic, but original cindy at least had a rep for a paranoid edge that i think comes from more trippy strains. JW's gear was more clearheaded and motivational than trippy and i never felt paranoid on it. i'm sure it contributes to jilly bean's euphoria.

i thought i already replied to this thread, but didn't see it, but if you want off the charts euphoria, NOTHING beats a really good shroom trip. i was surprised at how totally clearheaded and free from visuals etc. shrooms were at a concert, but otherwise had the warmest and fuzziest sativa like euphoria ever. it was like kali mist kind of if you took away the speed rush and traded it for even more euphoria. i understood the spiritual references i'd seen in regards to other hallucinogens after that. it was the most blissed out i've ever been in my whole life, even walking home in the rain and getting soaking wet. it was like an at peace with the universe it's all good kind of experience. i've tried to grow shrooms a couple times and just can't get it to work with large grain vermiculite yet and can't buy the fine grain stuff needed anywhere. combining that euphoria with a really trippy weed strain would be the ultimate buzz. i could picture the shrooms even toning down paranoia because you just don't give a fuck about anything but how beautiful everything is. LOL

i'm inclined to agree about hindu kushes. the troublemaker (hindu & masterkush) freebies i got once were and huge surprise to me. they weren't skunky at all as expected despite having broad leaves and they weren't stony either... NOTHING like afghani hybrids! the buzz reminded me of skunk #1, but with no more stone. i'm actually growing some hindu kush x skunk #1 masterkush by blackseeds right now for fun because it's supposed to be an under 2 foot tall strain with a neutral mid buzz that in theory should make it great for speeding up IBLs without stomping on their THC profiles like all of the old school afghani hybrids. i hate indicas very much, but would say kushes can be really nice from my limited experience. i'd like to see more afghanis pushed off the map for more neutral to even get you high strains just like in the long gone good old days. the euphoria level in troublemaker was awesome. after losing a $120+ order from doc and getting nada and hearing similar results from others though, he isn't my most trusted bank anymore.

if all goes according to plan, i should have some quick finishing masterkush x (C99 x A11) that should be low stone and high in euphoria. it sounds like a really good combo for cash cropping without kowtowing to afghanistan heroin.

Something with a sativaish high if possible. I know people say "sativas cause paranoia, stick with indica"... But strawberry cough is 75% sativa and known for it's anti-anxiety buzz. Not sure about Dutch Passion though... heard some bad things (not the real deal).

Anyways, could you please give a list of some strains that have little to no paranoia? I've heard DJ Short Blueberry is a good one?

What about TGA subcool's strains? I heard they're great for depression and such.

Just want a very happy, no anxiety strain and need somewhere to begin... Thanks.

I would agree with the Kali Mist suggestion.I had been looking for the same things in a strain to grow. When I'm doing something like this, I really like to sink my teeth into the search. So, after doing a ton of research I decided to try the Kali. I've got to say, what you will read about it here in R.I.U is right on the mark. Granted, not everything you read here, or anywhere else for that matter, is accurate. If you do your homework though, you will start to see a common thread reguarding this strain. As long as you dont mind not being sleepy with your high, you will love this strain! As far as a pheno of this strain goes, there seems to be 2. One is taller(sativa) growing and the other is more bush(indica) I grew out all the females and cloned each before flower. Out of 10 seeds i got 7 females. 4 were sativa pheno and 3 were indica. Of the indica, all 3 finished basically identical. The buzz was good but not quite as good as the sativa phenos. Still respectable though. Of the sativas, all were keepers, but I can tell you this, look for the plant that you can smell the spice on while its still in veg. That's the keeper! You'll know it when you smell it. Good luck.

Someone mentioned 8 Miles High which is a Mandala strain. Another great Mandala strain is Kalichakra. Very clear headed, great focus and uplifting high. Makes you feel like life is great again. You can work while smoking Kalichakra; I do it everyday. Not really all that energetic but enough to allow you to get the job done and you'll do a better job than without it. You notice more details which is encouraging. Enjoyment while listening to music is greatly enhanced; I love it. Disclaimer: The above description refers to the high at three months cure.

i REALLY like TGA's jack's cleaner 2! it has a warm & fuzzy euphoric glow with a stony edge but is fun because it's touchy feely and has sick body effects like imagining invisible ripples of color where you touch yourself. that one made me laugh hard.

sweet haze has a nice euphoria and trippiness going on too. really, most of the jacks, thais & hazes that i tried recently were all nice & happy enough, but sweet haze was clearly better, at least in early flowering.

CH9's jack might have been a nice euphoric strain with a degree of couchlock i'm not remembering, but their jack 33 is supposed to be more about euphoria. i'll be testing those 2 looking more for individual qualities.

TGA jillybean should live up to it's euphoric rep as well as the apollo 13 there.

kali mist is always happy as long as you want to live the equivalent of a week in one day. C99 can be a mellower alternative that's way faster to grow

romulan is a skunkier euphoric strain and one of the euphoric ones along with C99 that make up jillybean.

skunk #1 is a classic euphoria strain. i don't like how much the afghani drags it down to stony myself, especially after you get it into your system, but i like DNA's lemon skunk a little bit more. it seemed less stony but nicely euphoric.

bubblegum & blueberry are a couple classic euphoria strains too.

Purple strains like Urkle, Grandaddy Purple all work great at reducing anxiety and nervousness, feelings of panic or paranoia. Hindu Kush and similar lines might be a good choices as well. If you want to avoid anxiety, I'd stick with medical purple strains, long cure, and avoid the "speedy" high strains. WW is smooth if done right, but I think some to avoid are TGAs Space Dawg (its in strain description even), Sativa Black Jack, Romulan hybrids can also be a little jumpy. One assumption I will make, is that cbd and cbn rich strains are a better bet for the therapeutic calming effect. Just my two cents, and my first post ever. Howdy.

The Smoking Man.

i had some autoflowering masterkush (hindu kush x skunk #1) that was OK on the stress relieving front, but it was too stony for my tastes. it was functional, but being stoned depresses me.
