If i don't like war and killing and yet I attack people who start wars and cause wars....

Well.. then I am just like them...

right?

Is there really SUCH a thing as "the good fight" ---

It is sad that the poeple who are against war.. are "against" anything...

Cause being against stuff.. is what makes stuff turn into "war"

Yes, I know what you meen, but sometimes I still attac people that in my eyes are wrong duers or just obnocsious from my point of vew...Even though I fully understand that there really are no wright and wrong and point of vew is what preventing me from seeng the big picture...Fuck it , shit happens, I call it "Random karma distribution"...I try to restrain my self but sometimes I slip, in the long run it all comes back to me 3 fold anyway...Wish I was more disciplinned about it...How can one be more mindfull of "the way" at all times? Its like that old mob saying "Every time you think you are out, they drag you right back in!".Kinda like every time I quit smoking...Question: In your opinion, what is the best way to break such useless cycles?

i wonder if i could have inspired the pondering of such paradoxical notions... :)

i agree, being "against" does eventually lead to war. the one who is against is the one who is on the attack, the opposer, the aggressor.

that's because there are two things in the universe; truth and untruth.

some people believe that they have enough knowledge of truth that they are justified in forcing their truth onto others, killing and destroying along the way because the end result will supposedly benefit those who are left (war and abortion). they may not know that their original truth was based on untruth or only part of the truth, so violence is always the result of a break down in the commitment of individuals to find the Truth.

people also get confused about what truth is greater than other truths but human life must be at the top. that clears things up.

still, sometimes the commitment to find the smaller truth must be set aside so that we can protect the greater truth. for example, a wild eyed man wielding a gun fires at people in a crowd and begins to point at my kid but i happen to have my cross hairs directly on his head. i take the shot, preserving the greater truth that my child will live but denying the smaller truth that he was out of bullets.

we are inept, unable to know all. sometimes we compensate for this condition rather than pursue understanding. that compensation comes in the form of being "against" something, somewhere. the trick is to recognize when we're compensating and humbly accept the possibility that we don't have the truth on our side. when we do that we're fighting the good fight!

Wars are created by a difference of opinions. As long as there are at least 2 people left on this planet , there will be war.

i wonder if i inspired you to wonder about my wondering?

:)

if you did inspire me to wonder about your wonderings that i inspired you to wonder about, is there any wonder that we are still wondering about the inspiration of these wonderings?

lol

Life is a never ending paradox of yin and yang and whether you like it or not the universe itself is positive and negative and therefore so are we:blsmoke:

LIFE is ummmmmmmm..... cool... fun.... and full of awareness..

iloveyou
I'm sure life is like that for about 50% of humans and im sure it is definitely not like that for the other 50%,all though i guess the other 50% are fully aware of their shitty uncool/lives and situations :blsmoke:

If they were fully aware, then they'd be aware of awareness itself and there is nothing shitty about that.

Hmmm, is it possible to love someone you fight? Lets say you have vitnessed a violent act agains someone else, you confront the aggressor and say "I love you and because I love you I am gonna teach you compassion, I am gonna make you feel the pain you just inflicted...." than you kick theyr ass, constantly reminding them that its the same kind of pain they inflicted on some one else....Some people are just too thick to get it any other way, they feel like phisical strenghth automatically puts them in the right...a good ass kicking might be just a trigger for them to become more understanding and compassionate....

dont bother replying to this post, violence will just breed more hate, even if it was done with love...sleep deprivation makes me cranky sometimes...
