Is it reasonable to expect 1lb dried from 2x A51 SGS-160 with 4 plants in a hydroponic SCRoG? If not, what if an extra Kessil 350 was added?
thanks
Hello everyone,
I am curious to know what panels around have their LEDs more spread out, like the Hans Panel. It seems these would be ideal for surround a Tree. I was thinking maybe 5 panels for a 3 ft tree? Thank you

Dude, 3 panels in the right tent/grow area would be great for a three footer. One on top, two aimed for the sides and then just rotate your plant every few days. 5's nice and Hans will love ya for buying them but I think 3 will get ya by. Good Luck.
Hello everyone! What do you guys recommend for a one-plant closet grow? (about 1.5x1.5). Preferably price would be under $1000.

How high is the space? You need to figure (generally) about a foot for the pot, half foot for the fixture, one and half foot for the distance between canopy and bottom of the fixture = 3 ft You subtract that number (3ft in this case) from the height of the space and you've got the height of the plant that you can grow. Now obviously you could use a small pot to gain a few inches but the biggest difference is probably the distance needed between the plant canopy and fixture and there could be a couple inches with a shallower fixture too. Higher wattage LEDs with lenses usually need more distance than lower wattage LEDs with lenses.Hello everyone! What do you guys recommend for a one-plant closet grow? (about 1.5x1.5). 1.5 x1.5 is small enough that you could get away with lots of different lights. $1000 is a very aggressive budget for that space, but I like your style.
If you want to maximize your yield, and potentially have a light you could expand with I'd recommend using an Area 51 panel the SGS-160 or an Apache light, and hanging it a little higher than the recommended height. When I started using LED's I had the problem of buying a panel that was too small, and then I ended up getting pissed and buying a bigger one, and a bigger one, and.... you get where I'm going with this.
Learn from my mistakes, and whichever panel you buy, make sure that it's going to fit your current and future needs.
Hey all! I have $400 burning a hole in my pocket, and I need some LED action!
My grow area is about 2 sq. ft. and about 6 cu. ft.
I have my eyes set on this:
California Lightworks Solar Flare
Thoughts? Other suggestions?
THANK YOU!
Has anyone tried the Evolution 100? This thing looks like its built like a tank!

Those are great lights from everything I've heard. Exceptionally well made, and a proprietary design that uses LED's made in the USA.
CLW, Apache, and Area 51 are the LED kings, if you ask me....
