The 3 fuktard Amare spammers need to go away. "It grows the best, but I can't back that up with fact, just my opinion" ....then shut the hell up and post a grow thread and move the fuck on.
Calm down, shit. I, for one, am glad to see people reporting on lights/companies based on firsthand experience rather than going off spreadsheets.

:) Well said. I think he's more like a bully than any thing. Every one else in this thread has been very clam (thanks for your knowledge). When people act like that it makes you think "Why bother even trying to have a chat about something"

I'll post more information on amare when I get more information for those who asked/when I get the lights as well. Never once claimed they was the best or any other mumble jumbo. I will say from every thing I saw, it was the best option for me. I asked for top 5 or top 10 a while back in this thread or the other thread. I am pretty sure I got mixed answers on every one who posted. So for any one to boast they are the best out of every thing is a very tall order.

It's a thread geared towards learning about LED. Ease up. All your bullying crap just makes people want to move to another forum and not be apart of this group. LED is for ever changing thus we are for ever learning. Don't make it harder then it really has to be. Ask the right questions to get the right answers. Leave the puffed out chest attitude at the door.

Like I said I will document and do a grow log gladly against some other lights that I have to give any one who cares an idea how they can compare. I honestly do not see a lot of these types of logs (If there is please link I will read gladly) I know there are a few but not a ton. And most don't complete the logs.

You guys need too stop lol. All I know is my lights better hahahaha just kidding but diy is way better and not that hard. You get what you pay for as well as you get what you put in to it as well. Food for thought. Btw CXB3590 are more efficient than the COBs you guys are arguing over. You guys forget I own the rarest COBs on the market CXB3590 6500k DD bin 72v ran @ .5amps(HLG-185H-C500A) which I dim it down to 250ma when I start veg from clone and turn it up every week.

New grower here. I posted in the grow room help section about a kit I just got and was told the light I have needs an upgrade. The tent I'm using is a Secret Jardin DS60 (2x2x5). If I'm growing two to three plants what led lights would you recommend. I was told area 51 and onyx bloom where good choices but what else can y'all toss in the mix. Look to spend around 500 but will go a little higher if the light is truly worth it. Help me out here guys and gals.

I was going to do the same thing I just liked the fact there is a nice housing on all pre made units. Then with the Amare I liked the monos and uv. Coulda saved around 300$ per light I just couldn't be bothered right now. But i have been talking to victor about making another light and asked his thoughts, his reply was its definitely not needed with the se450's the plants get more than enough.

Was thinking of an 8' bar with a cob every 16" on either side of my trays for side lighting. Overkill possibly. But I do need a good veg only unit. Anyone interested? Prefer a 4x4 coverage dimable strictly for veg on 12 plants.
The new SES-300 is 8"x32" pulling 300 watts w/ a veg mode too I believe. You'll have to ask. 3070's surrounded by cool white XML2 (10w but ran less of course) With the current XP-G2 (5w colored). Think it will have the MeanWell driver instead of the IP rated LS. Sounds like it might be what you're looking for. It should be available any day now. I'm getting 2 myself.

Oh, for those who wanted to see a comparison grow you can come by mine. It's almost chop time. Not much cuz I did more on another one.
Don't know how to link it.
It's called " My Amare & Hydroponics Hut OC GG#4 grow ".
I had to compare to see for myself.

For that price and space I would check out the advertisers here. Check out Tasty http://www.tastyled.com/ his name is Rahz on the forums if you want to send him a PM.

I don't think he has the head room for an amare light tbh. The clearance is 24 on the 250. Then again I don't know all their lights but you could always email them and ask them as well. They still have a sale going on (gotta email them won't be on site).

They give any information on it? Maybe ask them for some grow logs for it as well. I never seen them before sorry. But with all the stuff out there please try and find logs. My gut says no. Too many fakes out there. You have a better chance looking at some Mars units for that price range.

Haha, editing my post. I donno to me Mars are the mid grade and lots of grow logs to back them up. Not hi end, bit for some one looking at that space and price range. They also have a ton of happy grower logs and seen me honor their warrenty. They are a Chinese company but they put a lot of money into their units and testing them. They also do offer coupon codes of you talk with them.

I don't think that's a Mars knock off, than again no clue if they have a secondary company.

Looks exactly like a Mars 600. I would probably stick with Mars before a Mars knock off. The company isn't shutting down anytime soon. Never know with a fake.

Hey guys why don't I see anything about active cooling the 3590's? Wouldn't that be better for us guys running smaller tents, so we can pack more lights in our space?

Will 70w of active cooling be enough for 1 CXB3590
