Inda-gro Induction...

strain?? indica/sat dom?......last questions I swear...
I dont mind questions if you don't mind my answers.

They are Berry Bomb and look to be Indica dom. I got them when they were 4 weeks old, so I started the screen up about 16". The first plant I did was about 6-8". One was topped early or had broken, it had two main stems, and looks to be the fastest growing of the three. They all had different moms. Wish I would have kept the numbers in case momma liked one better than the others.

seeing that most indica doms will start to flower at 14/10 without the flower inducing 730's(pontoons) your experiencing some "extra"stretch than normal, but you have plenty of height. if you feel worried about too much elongation between nodes than lower your phosphorous intake and raise the nitrogen and potassium levels if possible; also adjusting the light schedule to 15/9 will help. But to answer your question yes these signs are normal for an indica dom strain running under a theoretical 11/13 flower schedule

And no lowering the panel will not help as I see the same stretch at the center and outer grow area...

...in my experience with most forums when someone is banned they rarely delete their threads and posts... That thread was full of useful information that essentially cannot be found on here anymore. Regardless if it is competitors not liking what he had to say or just questionable work by a mod, it is a shame. Banning someone that spread so much knowledge on a on a site that exists to share said knowledge is laughable.
Ahmen! It was Spliff's post that got me hooked on the site. As a n00b with some serious challenges in my grow environment I found the induction stuff really compelling, especially after visting a friend's grow and seeing first-hand what's involved in setting-up HID. I just would not have been able to build the garden I wanted with 1000w HIDs, but I didn't want pay that huge induction premium if they were no good for growing. I searched for a while before finding this thread and Spliff's pontoon side-by-side, and this information really helped validate the tech. It's sad to lose access to Spliff's reasoned POV and methodical example.

Spliffs side by side tests were also about investigating a theory of far red in flower and IR after lights after dark briefly will drastically increase production.

I don't care what light co he use in the test.
i like the test!
lol

thanks for the link
ill keep watching over @ Tys forum....

I joined the dark side too... guess it's KoolAid for me

Now I want to get a Kool Aid Man figurine (red of course, like Dawg's ladybug) because all the cool kids play with red LEDs

Very healthy bro! Any chance on your next pics show us a wide shot too? Are you aiming for a 14/10?
Yep.

Im going from 13:45 down to 12. Simulate the best I can the decrease in light over the 8 week period an outdoor plant has.

I am building a couple of more rooms and thinking of using two for experimenting with light schedules. I like how Spliff was doing side by sides.

This is almost like brewing beer, but I got to drink the beer.

Hi all. I think the last time I gave a garden update I was just beginning my first attempt at pruning, and had just built my first scrog screen.

I think I over did the pruning on one or two plants, and they're still not growing as robustly as before the lollipoping, but whateves. Overall, the ladies have responded with denser growth in the upper branches.

Tent 1 is all Blue Dream, which has been in veg about six weeks. Tent 2 is Sour Diesel, and has been vegging about seven weeks. I'm kicking to flower now because, Tent 2 is getting pretty-pretty-pretty tall, and I'm excited to play with my new geeky cool 660nm LED arrays!

I kind of decided to go all in after Spliff's day 45(?) post, where he did the quick pan back-and-forth between buds on control-side and buds on pontoon-side. I had kind of decided I had invested enough for a first grow. What do I know, I'm just n00bin here, but I think that video shows ~20% more density in the bud formation. I was probably really just looking for an excuse to buy a cool toy , but I threw down for the pfr techno-magic.

Also, right after I did the more intense ~30% of biomass pruning, I ran a 24 hour light cycle for four or five days, then fell back to 18/6 for the last week+ of veg. After installing the pontoons, I've decided to do another 24 hour light cycle with the 660nm LEDs for a couple days, before cutting over to 12/12. Does that just sound pointless? I'm just making s#*T up.

Hi all!

Got to get to watering but here's my day 34 update. Damn they're some thirsty bitches under the Pontoons! Based on my past grows with straight 420's I'm seeing a conservative 25% increase in bud density @ day 34. Next run I think I'm going with the igrows since they use less water...
