Being an ex owner of a dispensary, I can tell you that growing outside is 100% legal in CO. No one else is alowd to see it from anywhere...If you have ten acres of pot growing on 100 acres, no big deal. But, if you neighbor see the plants from his yard, he can call the police and have you harassed by them about it. 1st offense, they would most likely have you kill it since you have a card and you are aloud to grow.
If someone sees you smoke, you are illegal. If you are at a camp site, you must be inside your tent with the zipper closed and you can smoke all you want, even if other people smell the smoke.
