Looks like some healthy beauties for us to follow along with Medshed! Its so much fun seeing the 2 Indicas, and I'm sending trichome-laden vibes your way in hopes they are packed with a lot more resin and dankness than it appeared the DNA Afghan brought Sub. Take care!

Thanks Bshdctr. I hope the AK frosts up like a snow is cone. So far it is showing great plant structure. We'll see how the AK and Ketama smoke, but at least from the perspective of growth patterns, I think they'd make a good year cross.

Thanks for the compliment laxfix. That JTR is bushing out nicely...

Hey Med, just checking in to let you know I am following you...I am looking forward to your JTR report, may be the next line I pickup from TGA.

Next line I am running from TGA will be Vortex; i have ten of them in the package waiting for me to finish my Blueberry mother hunt. However, I got some Mr Nice Black Widow just waiting to pop, so I havent decided on what will truly be next.

I feel I have gotten a solid handle on Pandora's Box, so it leads me to think that I could really have some fun with JTR in the future. I look forward to your experience with it.

Hey Snafu -- glad to have you riding along. I've got Vortex in my seed backlog as well. I'll be interested to watch you grow that. The original White Widow is one of my long time favorite strains. I bet you'll be happy with the Black Widow.

Later,
Medshed

Interested in the varieties you have from World of Seeds. Thanks for posting your experiences.

Thanks MrYellow. I haven't found much documentation on those strains so figured others would like to see them on action.

Hola Rollers. I managed to roll myself out of bed before lights out this morning to snap a few shots. Pretty impressive feat, I must say, following the tryptophan overdose last night. I hope everyone had a good Thanskgiving.

We're now at 2.5 weeks of flower and the JTR is reaching for the sky. I was actually thinking the stretch was pretty well contained until she took off the last couple of days. After the photos below I did a little light bondage to try to keep the canopy even. Post-bondage the JTR and Ketama are pretty much the same height. The AK is about 4 inches shorter than the others so I've got her sitting on a block to even things out.

JTR is definitely winning the pistil production race so far. I'm guessing the hybrid effect is responsible for that. Ketama and AK are both landraces that are accustomed to growing outside. Maybe they transition to flower more slowly even when they are grown inside. Either way, we're having fun so far. Let's bring out the ladies...
