Greetings - just joined the forum. Ive been doing small grows in grow cabinets/boxes with CFLs for a while but have recently decided to take the LED plunge. So, I got a 3x3x6 tent and a Spider farmer SF-2000(newest model with power adjustment knob on outside of housing!). Im pretty confident this light will do well for my 3x3 tent. I plan to do 3-4 plants total (flowering phase only) and use my grow boxes for possibly a couple more small plants or just vegging. Should have it all up and going by Wednesday.

I hope I made a good choice for lights - my head was spinning from the research and "advice" which was all over the place. I was considerng the California Lightworks 550 Extreme or the Mars TS2000 but liked the Samsung LEDs and the strong reviews of the Spider Farmer. Anyways, see ya'll around. :)

I'm killing it with a 5 dollar, 5w light that you can charge your cellphone with, and I'm only running it 7 hours a day

Hey everybody who is using LEDs out there. Lets join up and start chattin about this and that. Figuring crap out. Seeing what works for you, but not me, etc. etc.

It would be much appreciated if only people who USE CURRENTLY leds for mostly full grows, or vegetative grows using only LEDs.

HID users, we already know you are better than us, and your buds are bigger than ours. But there is a first time for everything, and a new beginning at ever end of something old.

ALSO IF YOU ARE AN LED SALESMAN TRYING TO SELL YOUR PRODUCT THIS IS NOT THE THREAD FOR YOU! STAY AWAY! IF YOU ARE AFFILIATED WITH A COMPANY AND HAVE BIAS FEEDBACK WITHOUT RESULTS. STAY AWAY!

Thank you all, and I hope this thread EXPLODES in growth...

This is one of three plants under a Bloombeast B800 COB light. Its in a 2x2x3. Way way way overkill but I keep temps down and grow in coco loco.

So I have officially joined the LED club with delivery of my redwood-vs X 3 lights.
Correct me if I am wrong but the 2 things I should be aware are of

1) Want canopy temp at 84 because of lack of IR
and
2) I might want to add a little more cal-mag.

Anything else I am missing?

Thanks, didn't realize how big they are, almost didn't think they were going to fit into my 4x4 tent but I like them, seem like high quality product. I should hope so at that price though.

I have cal-mag so maybe just use my regular amount and a pinch of Epsom.

Hi LED users. I regrettably purchased a cheap greenfingers 600w LED for my small 1mx1m grow tent.

I’ve since realised this light supposedly only puts out about 100w.

I don’t have a big budget but I’m hoping to have at least 400w in my tent.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how I get there? Keeping in mind my budget is around 300AUD

About to start my 12th grow with my 2x2.5 tent and my home made 250 watt led. Several years.
Not a single maintenance or repair issue, other than breaking a hood holder and needing to replace it, and I broke that.
I get just around(a bit under on average) a pound per grow.
In that same time, I have gone through 4 air pumps, dozens of air stones, the zippers on the tent are...difficult sometimes, the fans all have been replaced, the filter is my 4th or 5th one, even replaced 1 or 2 of the bubble buckets.
But nada on the light.
I use 5 Cree cobs and a meanwell driver hitting the cobs at 50 watts each- 250 watts.
Built back when cobs were just becoming available to home growers, 5 or 6 years ago.

This is last week with Blue dream at 2 weeks of flower. I have 5 of those little cobs.

The COB lighting I just picked up used to have reflectors like those but stopped using them because they tested them and found they actually diminished the light.
