Let's talk about guns. . . . . .

It does when it makes up the majority of deaths. You just like to twist shit around.
I support gun owners using their guns on themselves. This is a valid use. Hunting, marksmanship competition and suicide. Those are all OK.

You should get this one and keep it near you at all times:

You’re extremely ignorant, I’m done with your small mind.
I have always found that those that are first to resort to name calling are those that know they are wrong and people I have no desire to continue any form of engagement with.

And please keep your word. Just as Biden does not want trump attending his inauguration, I don't want you replying to any of my comments.

I live in Portland Oregon and am no stranger to both Antifa and MAGA protests. But what happened in Washington the other day was exponentially worse than some hoodlums running through the streets vandalizing. What happened in Washington was so despicable on so many levels that anyone equating it to an Antifa protest needs to take some time and think about what really happened.

It's really appalling to see people make comments saying the MAGA types are not as violent as Antifa. It's one thing to destroy property. It's another thing to kill people. In the last few years the ones doing the killing have been the MAGA types. I don't recall Antifa or BLM protesters commiting murder. Including a Capitol Police officer.

It's one thing to protest and light fires and throw bottles at police in the streets. It's another thing to invade the Capitol of the United States of America where our elected officials were gathering. They were gathering to formalize the results of the last election. It was the MAGA types that were there to stop the process. Their goal was to nullify an election in an effort to keep the loser they voted for in power. It was an attempted coup led by trump and the rest of the traitors in his circle using the MAGA types as soldiers.

And if you want to go back even farther we can talk about timothy mcveigh who today would have been in that same crowd of MAGA had he not been executed for committing one of if not the worst case of Domestic Terrorism in US history. But the assault on our Capitol by A MAGA crowd even though the death count was much lower is worse on many levels.

This was probably going to be a rehearsal for what the MAGA crowd had in store for the Capitol.

State Capitols across the country are being besieged by armed MAGA in an attempt to overthrow elected government officials.

I don't care for Antifa but they are not plotting to kidnap and kill Congressmen and women, Senators, and Judges.

Here's some images of those peaceful MAGA protests for comparison to Antifa. There are some other very disturbing pictures showing the non-violent MAGA crowd dragging, beating, stomping, and using a flag to assault a Capitol police officer that I don't feel comfortable posting as they are too graphic. This is trumps non-violent law and order crowd.

trump and his cronies working up the troops prior to their attempt to overthrow the United States government.

A sea of trump and MAGA hats while peaceful protesters assault the Capitol.

I look at all these grinning idiots in the crowd as these domestic terrorists use their steel fence posts to beat up the cops.

And it makes me think about the old time lynching pictures.

Every government policy you support is backed by the threat of gun use.

You love using guns against people you can't peacefully persuade to endorse your ideas.

Well said and so true.......The hypocrisy runs deep.

Why don't gun owners fight as hard for a nice private suicide pill or something less painless/messy for others to clean up then?

It really seems by how much you think it matters, that is the biggest reason (outside of hunting/sport shooting) to have a gun.
Dirty little secrets about guns.

All gun owners have at least had a passing thought of blowing their brains out with it.

All gun owners plan and train to kill people.

Dude you are so off base it's not even funny. I'm a gun collector and have way above the average for Americans. I can't stand running over a turtle in the road, much less plan and train to kill people. Having to kill a person would be the worst thing I could think of. I'm not saying I wouldn't do it if forced, but it would fuck up the rest of my life.

All legal gun owners do train to use a gun in a safe, responsible manner, here anyways, and we are actually trained not to kill people. How a person uses that gun is a personal choice. It does seem like guns mean more than hunting and target shooting for many in the US. Your statements will only lead to nothing at all happening, and are not helpful. But again I’m pretty happy with our laws here, although longer sentencing for gun crimes would be nice. As I said earlier, what you guys do and how you try and achieve your goals, what ever they are, is your fight. What I do know is when I hear that over 50,000 people die each year (for any reason) you’ve got a problem.

Dirty little secret, everyone at least once has considered offing themselves. Guns seem handy I guess. I would be more inclined to do a giant whack of Mexican mud myself ;).
