Looks like this woman just lost her primary race....

I just received an email ostensibly from John Kerry, but really from one of his dog washers.

An excerpt:

Assault! Can you believe it? Even the poodle agrees with me.

The Democrats won in 2008 because of the economy. They misread their mandate. Now they face defeat because of, wait for it... THE ECONOMY.

In the words of Dwight Morrow, "Any party which takes credit for the rain must not be surprised if its opponents blame it for the drought."
Now there going to lose it, cause they fucked up worse than bush......

. you asses fucked it up and awoke the sleeping giant. and we are bringing hell with us. nov cant get here soon enough

its not a hunt for rinos. its a hunt for progressives.
Are you talking to me? If so, why do you assume for some reason that im a "progressive?"

I no longer belong to ANY political party, movement or any other tag you want to use.....I was a Republican for a long time, left after seeing the Christian influence take a dominant voice in the party.

My rants get raves.

First of all, I never heard of Christine O'Donnell before two days ago. As such, I have not formed an complete opinion about her.

Here's what I do know: The establishment Republicans despise her. That's a good sign. Establishment Republicans are as odious as establishment Democrats.

And Karl Rove is the portly poster boy for the Neocons. He's a big part of the problem that the Teabaggers are addressing.

I am surprised you don't get that.
Karl Rove isn't a policy guy. His job is to win elections for the republican party and he's pretty darn good at it. And I say this as someone who despises the man with every fiber of my body....

I don't understand what you're saying. You're happy she won because she has the 'teabagger' label, but you don't know much about her positions? She's a bible thumper of the worst kind and if - god forbid- she should make it to congress, she will pushing social issues, not fiscal ones...

Seriously dude, look into some of the info about her that's out there. She tried to sue her employer for sex discrimination to the tune of several millions of dollars, for example. She's a deadbeat as far as her personal finances go and she's been living off campaign contributions, even though she owes loads of people money from her 2008 run. She's actually worse than palin, imo....

But yeah...the GOP establishment hates her, so she must be doing something right.

Karl Rove may not be a policy guy (although he expresses his policy views enough), but that does not mean he was (and is) not part of the problem. I should not have to explain that to you.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Perhaps the Teabaggers are attracted to O'Donnell for no other reason than the establishment hates her. She's a threat to them.

I'm keeping an open mind about her. I fell into that trap with Palin. Early on I supported her as a knee-jerk reaction to the way she was being treated by the media. Ultimately I did not vote for her, but I did contribute - which I regret.

I am not interested in 20 year old videos. Nor am I much concerned with any personal issues the woman has dealt with. I believe in redemption, and not just for disgraced Democratic elected officials seeking to keep their jobs.

I'm more concerned with what the woman has to say now.

She's the ultimate outsider. And that's appealing.

But, as I stated previously; open mind.

Good thing she's about ten points behind her democratic opponent in the polls

Oh! John Stewart n Steven couldn't have lit enough candles, they couldn't have done enough good to get this heaven sent gift.

I'll be sure to keep you up to date with all the undeniable and hilarious stupidity that is this woman......

Johnny, you didn't address my question at all....you just ranted for the most part.

How is christine o'donnell (the 'tea party' candidate) any different from other republicans. She's spent her whole life pushing 'values' (i.e. not masturbating), is against abortion no matter what the circumstances and hates gays. How is she any different from the 'establishment' republicans? What does her platform have to do with fiscal conservatism? This really is lipstick on a pig, nothing else. On top of everything else, she seems like a bit of a dummy....she also thinks there are people hiding in her bushes or something, so perhaps a bit of a crazy too...?

Karl Rove gets it....I'm surprised that you don't, johnny.
The repub was too progressive so out he went. That's what we are seeing. Too bad a poor choice was put in his place, but people are getting so desperate they are taking the lessor of two evils.
The repubs are up in arms because they think the dem will now win that state meaning one less republican congressperson. It's all about the party for too many and not the issues.

while that may be true to go the extra step of "the enemy of my enemy is my leader" without knowing much about them is amazingly naive
Elected officials in the Legislative Branch are not our leaders. They are public servants. We the people are the leaders.

You must have missed the 'open mind' portion of my comments.

I have not formed a complete opinion on the woman. I am merely pointing out the items which make her attractive to a conservative independent loose cannon voter like myself.

Gun Owners of America (GOA) heartily endorses O'Donnell, calling her a strong Constitutionalist.

Even if she turns out to be a mess, she can still hurt the Democrats.

Unless something turns up that is so damaging it kills her chances, that 10% gap will close. It will close because she is the It-girl now. She's the story. The National Democrats will have no choice but to divert resources to this race, thus dooming other marginal races. She's the Teabagger stalking horse. A diversion.

During the preparation for Operation Overlord, General Patton had nothing to do because he had been disgraced and stripped of command. So the Allies created the phantom First United States Army Group for him to command and the Germans were scared shitless. It never existed, but they were so worried about where and when Patton was coming across that they neglected legitimate possibilities. It worked. The Allies landed in Normandy, not Calais as the Germans presumed. In fact, Rommel was not even in France on the day of the landings.

It's called psychological warfare.

The Proggies would be wise to keep that in mind. Go ahead and wring your hands about masturbation and other trivial matters while the Teabaggers fuck around with other races.

yeah, that sounds about as right your friend mcdonnel.

oh, this woman won, and republicans don't stand a chance in that district. don't believe me?? check out how Karl Rove, the Republicans election mastermind, flip-flopped around his endorsement. he never even directly endorsed her. actually, he was rooting against her, probably because he knew this bitch has too many things democrats could undermine her with.... hell, democrats don't have much to do really. Rove enlisted the dirty dirty on Fox News the other day (ironic ain't it): allegations of education background falsifications, allegations concerning her income, allegations of her not having any income and making a living off campaign contributions, allegations she supported legal bans of masturbation............... oh.... the list gets really entertaining quick.

you see this woman as the godzilla rampaging through tokyo.

more accurately would be to describe her as the guy in the Tour de France who falls, and knocks down all those great athletes on their way to history making comebacks from behind, ruining their chances to win.........

I wish you could understand how hilarious it is to see Proggies, in their desperation, citing Karl Rove and Fox News.

Actually she's rampaging through Delaware and that's enough. The establishment is apoplectic while the Teabaggers are laughing their asses off.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend, remember?

Re-read my post. The Tea Party is Godzilla.

So keep the focus on the diversion while Godzilla continues to make his way to Tokyo.

my favorite one was she ran her 2008 campaign off of loans that still havent been paid back yet... not only that but she still owes staff money from then too
yet the people on here that are supporting her are the ones with loudest voices moaning about the deficit, financial responsibility anyone? hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

i guess you missed the rather lively discussion. karl rove doesn't even try to hide it. and when asked about it afterwards, he still refuses to endorse her 100%. he's more like: well, um, im all for republicans, but here as a FOx News analyst, she's not a good candiate. She's more than 10 points behind her democratic opponent in every poll, and if I were republicans, I'd be worried.
then the fnc anchor tries to get rove to budge, he doesn't.

desperation??? what desperation. Rove himself says her victory almost cements a republican loss (for whatever she's running for) in november........

If that's a talking point, then for the sake of fairness let's talk about Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.

You can click this link if you want to help retire her campaign debt from 2008.

I wonder if she's planning to raffle off Bill again?

yes, we wouldnt want to elect a dummy in bidens seat. not someone who constantly sticks their foot in their mouth. not someone who actually cheated in college, or a dummy who says shit like "he is a clean articulate black guy". nahhh not in good ole boy bidens seat....

this is where you miss the boat. americans dont give a rats ass about rove or you. they care about their country and they hate what progressives are doing. they arent gonna be discouraged cuz you think she isnt good enough. nope.

oh, did i mention she collected over a million bucks since tuesday? she wins going away and rove gets to crawl back under the rock he has been hiding in since GW left office.

Yeah, desperation liberally sprinkled with denial.

Before the Delaware primary, all the pundits said she had no chance against Castle.

If the Teabaggers don't prevail in Delaware, which is not a foregone conclusion, they will prevail somewhere else.

Remember that up until a very short time ago, the possibility of a Republican takeover of the Senate was beyond the realm of possibility.

But now the possibility that it may not happen portends some sort of victory for you? LOL!

By the way, did anyone else notice that the New York Senate race is now in play?
