but yeah. johnyorganic and jeff f from rollitup.org know more than he does. it's not like he's got more than 30 years experience in high level politics or anything..... lol
I thought he was the devil to you liberals. Oh that's G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney. I forgot for a minute.:dunce:

Yeah, desperation liberally sprinkled with denial.

Before the Delaware primary, all the pundits said she had no chance against Castle.

If the Teabaggers don't prevail in Delaware, which is not a foregone conclusion, they will prevail somewhere else.

Remember that up until a very short time ago, the possibility of a Republican takeover of the Senate was beyond the realm of possibility.

But now the possibility that it may not happen portends some sort of victory for you? LOL!

By the way, did anyone else notice that the New York Senate race is now in play?
did you clear that NY race through rove before posting?

these guys are living in the river denial....

progressives are sitting in their beds rocking back and forth with their eyes closed mumbling "make them go away, make them go away". this is hilarious

another thing i love that your already comparing miss conservative 2010 to hilary clinton...lol
I think the point was she isn't the only person with campaign finance woes.

Are all liberals this dense?:-?

I don't know what the fuss is about this chick. She won a primary. Big whoop! I do think it speaks to the greater problem facing the dems. The messiah is not real popular. His healthcare reform, not real popular. The economy, still in the shitter and after all this talk about how we needed a trillion dollar stimulus or unemployment would go above 8%. Newsflash! It's almost 10% still! People are fed up and they will excercise the only real power they have; voting these fuckwads out of office. I don't care if you are dem or a repuke, the "establishment" has problems.

im not from the us so whether she's liberal or conserative doesnt affect me im here for the shits and giggles.
i've just read a few things about her and i cannot understand what part of christine o'donnel appeals to teabaggers apart from her palin endorsement. she's not financially responsible, she's of the veiw that governement should be involved in stuff like masterbation. alright she might be a bit of eye candy (not very good candy at that) but this holding her up as a godzilla of politics is effing funny

I'm the one in denial...... haha...

you guys deflect and deflect and deflect..... we give you the truth, you say something else.

i talk about how THE political expert within the republican party believes she's not good news. you say he doesn't vote in delaware so what he says doesn't count...................

I say there's plenty of things about this rookie politician, to completely decimate her in a debate. you start talking about how she's not that different from hillary clinton. you seem to forget hillary LOST her primary race.

yeah... liberals are the ones in denial, and the dense ones..... let me guess, none of you are planning to attend Stewarts Rally to Restore Sanity.

I know you are from the UK but your views always tend to lean toward the left. I don't care what your political views are personally. The masturbation thing was from when she was in high school! Kids are fairly impressionable. Does she still feel this way? That's the important question. Her winning the primary speaks to the greater problem in established politics in this country. That's why this is so intriguing. She is simply the vessel........;-)

BTW I have no clue why it was such a big deal about this "coalition" thing you guys had going on earlier this year with your new pm. I don't undersand UK politics either.:blsmoke:

whats hilary got to do with it she's not a teabagger. your not supporting her or her "ideals" christine o'donnel however..
Fair is fair. If you choose to use unpaid 2008 campaign debt as a liability, then Hillary is fair game.

How many times must I repeat that I have not made up my mind on O'Donnell? I think I've been very clear on that point.

However, you seem to interpret my observations as support. Tell you what, the day I move to Delaware and vote for her I'll be a supporter. Failing that, the day I send her a campaign contribution you may feel free to call me a supporter. I promise I will mention it here if I take either of those actions. Deal?

On the other hand, I think it is pants-shitting hilarious the effect one Teabagger Primary victory is having. Keep your thong in a wad over O'Donnell. It's very entertaining.

when someones at such a religous level that they think masterbation should be banned then nothing sort of a compleate loss of faith is going to change them that much.

you should look a little into what happened in the uk with our 2 main party and 1 smaller party political system and whats happened after the coaliton as your heading for some similar results in the us

There it is!

No actual substantive rebuttal. Nothing more than dismissal and marginalization as a response.

How very elitist of you.

Nicely played. Robert Gibbs would be proud.

Obtuse much?

How many times must I repeat this now?

O'Donnell is not Godzilla. The Tea Party movement is Godzilla.

The movement.

if you guys really want something to change then the only "movement" you'd link to o'donnel would be "diarrhea" then drink plenty of water and it should go away within a few days

seriously if this is the caliber of the tea party candidates then the movement isn't gonna get anywhere, infact i bet you will find your course heading backwards in not too distant future

What?!? So I make sure I have this straight, you think that because she is religious and advocated for "sexual purity" and a ban on masturbation (which is utterly ridiculous, of course) when she was a teenager that there is Nooooooooooo possible way that she may have backed off of that extremely intrusive and personal view of hers? I'm just floored that you would pass judgement on someone with basically NO proof whatsoever. Show me where she says she currently would advocate for a BAN, not an "I believe", on masturbation and I'll gladly put my foot in my mouth.;-)

Diarrhea cha cha cha!

Actually it is the caliber of one candidate we are talking about here.

And it speaks very poorly of the establishment that such an allegedly weak candidate took down a seasoned party favorite.

Keep focusing on O'Donnell. Ignore the Teabagger movement. Nothing to see there.

considering how far down the religous scale you'd have to be to advocate the government banning masterbation, then even if she did take a step back on the masterbation part she's still a fucking long way down that scale. it would have to be leaps back before i saw her get to a point where i would consider having her be my voice in government. religion and government don't mix just look to the middle east to see that in action

now the only proof that would get me to consider her as a realistic candidate would have to be either an out of wedlock sex tape (make it a lesbian tape and i would personaly write her a letter of apology ) barring that i dunno maybe pics of her snorting coke infront of an upside down cross or something :P

What bothers me is that it seems like the Tea Party "movement" is nothing more than the Moral Majority repackaged and renamed......all the same standards seem to apply to both.

Why I dont like her:
She opposes abortion in ALL cases....in other words if a 12 year old girl was to be raped by an uncle and impregnated, she would have her FORCED BY THE GOVERNMENT to carry the baby to term.....isn't that big government and government overreach into personal matters?

Seems like a lot in the movement are all for personal liberties as long as it doesnt offend their religious views........same thing with the govt. being involved, no big government UNLESS it offends Christian morals and ethos..............hypocrites

Well, she won't be my voice in govt. because I don't live in Delaware either. It is indicitave of a greater problem. That's what the folks on the left can't seem to get into their thick skulls:wall:! She is a political nobody, from a brand new, unestablished political party! These are exciting times my friend. The system can work if the people get organized and the political "establishment" better take heed. We will not tolerate the bastardization and corruption of our precious constitution. The things in it are as important today as they have ever been. The people have spoken and they are not happy with the 2 parties. It's not hard to understand, really. :blsmoke:

Yeah the people are angry, electing a liar and tax cheat is the answer to all the problems......BTW she is hardly an "outsider" to the political system or to the Republican party.............

This is not the resume of a political outsider:
This is her 3rd campaign in Delaware politics

"
Following college, O'Donnell went to work for Enough is Enough, a Washington, D.C.-based anti-pornography group.[13] Over the following two years, she worked in conservative issue advocacy and for the Republican National Committee,[18] and served as a spokesperson for Concerned Women for America, a Conservative Christian political action group which seeks to apply biblical principles to issues of public policy,[13][19] and which opposes abortion.[20] In 1996, she left Concerned Women for America and attended the 1996 Republican National Convention in San Diego, California.[13]
O'Donnell then founded the Savior's Alliance for Lifting the Truth (SALT) in 1996 and served as its president.[13] The organization lobbied the U.S. Congress on moral issues[4] and focused on advocating chastity and other Christian values in the college-age generation.[21] She made several high profile television appearances in her role. In 1996 O'Donnell appeared as a SALT representative on MTV's show, Sex In The 90's, in which she advocated for "sexual purity" when dealing with our "God given sexual desires". O'Donnell also advocated against masturbation, biblically equating it with adultery.[22] Two years later, O'Donnell appeared as a SALT representative on Bill Maher's show Politically Incorrect, and argued that since America "took the Bible and prayer out of public schools" we were now "having weekly (school) shootings", and that the 1960s "sexual revolution" led to the AIDS epidemic.[23]
She was awarded a Lincoln Fellowship by the Claremont Institute, a conservative think tank in 2002.[24]
In 2003, O'Donnell moved to Delaware to work for the conservative Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) in Hockessin, and bought a house in Wilmington.[4][15] She registered a gender discrimination complaint against ISI with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), after which she was terminated by ISI in 2004.[4] She then sued the institute in the federal court for $6.9 million for wrongful termination claiming that she had been fired in retaliation for filing the discrimination complaint and due to ISI's conservative philosophy that women must be subordinate to men. She said ISI's actions caused her mental anguish,[4][25] and would lose future financial earning power because ISI's actions would delay her education.[nb 2] ISI defended its action by accusing her of having conducted a for-profit public-relations business while on their time.[4] O'Donnell dropped the suit in 2008, stating she could no longer afford an attorney.[4][15][16]
In 2008, she was unable to pay the mortgage for her Wilmington house and the mortgage company gained a judgment against her for $90,000; the house was due to be sold at a sheriff's auction in August 2008 when she sold it the month prior to her campaign's lawyer.[4] The IRS has filed a lien and said that O'Donnell owes $11,000 in back taxes, but O’Donnell says that it was a mistake and a “computer error”.[26] O'Donnell noted that the IRS agent handling the matter claimed he was perplexed by the agency's actions.[4] She listed herself as self-employed and said she was doing "odd jobs" to make ends meet.[4]
O'Donnell has worked as a marketing consultant[3] She has provided political commentary on numerous Fox News television programs, such as The O'Reilly Factor,[27] The Live Desk,[28] and Glenn Beck.[29] She has been supportive of the Right to Life and criticized pornography, masturbation and premarital sex.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_O%27Donnell#cite_note-cnn-bio-15

Just what we need another CAREER politician that cheats on her taxes and earned $8,500 last year .............youve been bamboozled
