I was at my buddy's house the other night. Tincture came up in our conversation.. Ive read about it, seen pictures of it, but was still curious to what it was. I ask my buddy "what is tincture exactly" he turns around and hands me a mason jar 3/4 filled and tells me to go for it. Never tried it before..fuck it. I pour one cup and drink it, pour another cup and drink it 15-20 mins. later I'm fucked up.. I stay faded the rest of the night (still sipping my 3rd glass before I end up crashing on the couch) It gave me a pretty nice body high, I was stoned inside and out. Head felt spacey but wasent eeeerrrr dumb. Overall it was a GOOD TRIP try it for yourself it's worth it..

I love the stuff. Not the alcohol based ones though, those kinda suck. Glycerin based taste almost like honey.1 oz of ground up, quality bud in mason jar with 3 1/2 oz glycerine or strong 100 proof liquor. Shake the fuck out of it a couple times a day and keep it in a cool, dark place.I say 3 months to a year...but it's ready in 2 weeks. Like curring bud, or fine wine...the longer the better IMO. But I love the stuff...I always have it on hand now. One or two drops in the morning with my coffee. It's nice to have with you if your out somewhere and you can't smoke too. A drop under the tounge, or on a cookie, in some soup...lol...it's good stuff.

I took a shot of tincture before going to walmart with my buddy for a "supplies" run.. awesome decision.

"Tincture" is an archaic term for "solution in alcohol". So to call any non-alcoholic extract a tincture is a misuse of the language. cn

mine was alcoholic.. the taste - not so pleasant.

I think if you put your cannabis in any type of alcohol or oil base. I'm not 100% about this but I believe THC is fat soluble therefore it will dissolve in oils and alcohol easily.

you have to use 150+ proof alcohol for the best result. everclear is good. u can do glycerin but they don't last as long. alcohol is a natural preservative. i am making an alcohol one now with my sugar leaves. some people bol off some of the alcohol after it sits for a while in the alchohol but i don t'kn ow if i will. ur supposed to only need a few drops to get high but it seems most people usually take a shot+ or they don't feel anything.

That's the term used the THC recipes book.It has alcohol and vinager and glycerin, the other two are called alcohol-free....lol....so I guess its an oxy-moron,like the author of said book.

The word has a certain alchemical cachet and as such is popular with New Agey folks ... aromatherapists, homeopaths etc. Technically, properly, the nonalcoholic extracts are not tinctures, but perhaps decoctions. That too sounds cool if you aren't John Bobbitt. cn

lol Ive done this before, never knew there was an actual name for it. I prefer my buds dry and my alcohol with no lumps and clumps. Tastes completely narsty, id just rather get drunk then smoke some weed and or eat some weed.

fuck using a dropper.. next time take a shot and you'll be pretty fucked up for a while haha
after take some hits from the bong, you'll sleep like a baby

Get like an oz of bud, and a bottle of vodka.

Mix them together. Let it sit for 30 mins, and shake it pretty often.
Then pour through a coffee filter, and you have a bottle of tincture/Party liquor

The glycerol base is still very potent, they taste like honey... good in coffee, or just on tongue.... but they ned more like 90days --I'm letting mine soak for 6months!..... made with headband!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a crazy amount of time.
You should use Naptha, and evaporate it into the glycerol.

And mixing it in a bottle of vodka would just be good for drinking
