Vending machines for pot may be headed to Washington

As Washington state works on rules for implementing its new marijuana legalization law, a California company says it wants to bring marijuana dispensing machines to the state.

The pot vending machines are already in place in some states where medicinal marijuana is legal.

The machines currently in use require patients to scan a fingerprint, which will link that patient to an on-file prescription for marijuana. Medbox nows says it is working to adapt the machines for recreational users.
 
i'd like one in my work lunch room.. i'd bet the other vending machine co's would appreciate the boost in sales.. :D
 
i think this is a bad idea. MJ is medicine...it shouldnt be put in a machine to be dolled out like soda.
 
man o man. i want one..lol. not that I cud sell from it cuz i wud get busted real quick. i read in the news about people being busted for setting up mj vending machines....
 
The vending machines suck. 1 everything is pre weighed no chance of building good report with the bud tender and getting hooked up fat. 2 you don't know what bud you're getting because its behind the glass. you cannot check it out then put back if you want something else. As a connoisseur I like to be able to check out every piece of herb in the building before I choose.
 
Did anyone else see what happened to medbox's stock after Wa. and Co. legalized? Went from around $5 a share to around $3000 a share. Crazyness...

Hooked up fat? That doesn't really happen unless you're buying some swag.

Don't forget about them getting stale. I once dropped a bag of twinkies that I got in a vending machine. It shattered. Two year old weed with a 50 year shelf life.

Speak for yourself! When a knowledgeable female walks in to a dispensary with double d's to buy a gram she usualy walks out with a gram and a half. If ever go into a dispensary and its weighed on point I don't come back.
