Thx :D. I have been keeping my hps around 10", seems to be doing o.k at the distance. I always thought hydro would be more of a pain to manage, but thinking about all the stuff i have to do with the soil, i am leaning to hydro in my up coming grows.

cant wait to see yours progress! :D and if i have any question ill shoot them your way. thx again!

Day 4 Flower

Well if I can help you with anything I for sure will, but I can't pretend to know much as I just started growing this year and have only chopped down three girls. I do try and do my fair share of reading to gain experience from those already with the knowledge. But hydro is the way to go for me. I just have one res that I have to manage, add nutes and away they go. I would like to check ppms and monitor all that stuff but what I do works for me, and I don't have the money to invest in nice grow appliances. Cheers here is a bit of progress for today.

Looks good, nice lil set up you got. You should be able to get your light a good bit closer than 10" since you have that fan blowing up at it. It'd decrease your coverage area a bit but you could safely get it more like 6" from the screen and once the tops grow through then move it up a bit. They seem really healthy and don't look to be stretching for the light too much, good work so far man!

Thanks KawiZZR. I agree I need to fix my light situation, I threw a quick fix in there two 65w CFLs. I'll work more on it when I get back. I'm out of town here for a week or so I'll see you guys when I get back!

I have ended up going from a Stealth dresser, to a setup just like yours!

I have 2 2.5 gallon DWC buckets for Flower, 1 2.5 gallon for Vegging the next inline, and a tub for the clones.

Thank you sir. Woke up this morning to find that all three of the flowering plants are ladies. All have white thin pistols poking out now. Looks like I'm going to have to figure out what to do with so many plants in veg. Hmmmm. Hah, wasn't expecting to have this kind of luck.

Thank you Sirs. I think my res temps are too high so I'm going to start freezing milk jugs with water in them and switch them out in the res. Hopefully I can get some more growth from it.

oh and potentially a hermi on the left there? What do you guys think? I have pics of where the pistols are, then one node lower there is a little ball looking thing growing.

those buds look soooooo tasty!!!! that looks like th perfect lunch!!! i see that growth there.... i hope it's just a bump or something, and not balls. mine didn't show till 6 weeks into flowering, so by time i saw anything they were nanners!! my fingers are crossed for ya.... NO HERMIE!!! I'm sure you will keep you eye on that.... keep us posted on it!!

Yeah stoney the smoke is so good. Leaves me reallly blazed. Hopefully I don't blaze through it all too soon hah. I guess I'll let that little ball cook a little longer to make sure I'm not going crazy over nothing. If it's a hermi I definitely don't have room for it in my garden haha.

That bud does look good. Been awhile sense i smoked any good pot.... That does look like a testical. :D Hope its just a retarded female flower. Your plants are looking great. How tall you do expect them to get?

Well the screen is six inches above the buckets, so I'm going to start flowering them around that height. Since I have the screen I'm not much worried about height because they are going to be smashed flat, but I'd guess around 3 feet tall if they weren't trained? Love your grow man those girls have blown up with that hps.

Alright so here is what's going on in my neck of the woods. Good day. In the veg room got the purple mamba turning a month old in a few days. Luckily I don't think these things will grow into monsters under these cfls. Hopefully not. Hah have a awhile to go until I have some flower space, unless this lady turns out to be a herm. I am kind of not caring if she does, I flowered her so young because I had no buds, and I still had to sex the garden and didn't plan on 3 females. What luck. I'm blessed. :leaf: Here are some pics.
