bigger plant is in my extra bathroom with now 40 watt spirals, doing well I think, been 10 days and has lots of white hairs since day 3, now lookin good, but stretching a little too much I think,,, will send pics soon, I hope.....

Is that tinfoil on your walls, I heard that is a No No, something about burning spots in your leafs.

alumn. foil was quick thinkin, not good thinkin.. I have been wonderin where to get mylar, I see people using it and it looks like it would work awesome,, so maybe dollar store wraping paper???? what about w-mart, is there a store like that, that I can walk in and ask for mylar and theyll know what Im talkin about???? making a new workshop and this time Ill do it better (I hope). My biggest problem is staying out of the room its in,, (first time budding) very exciting, but am getting better... now week 2... recently put an old shop light in with new daylight bulbs...

You could always just paint the walls white
I wouldn't be using no tissue paper and with the wrapping paper i would not
advise using it either.

Best thing is, if you do something, do it right the first time.
Im sure the local nursery or gardening shop would have Mylar or an equiv.

thanx for the advice, Im going to go to HD OR lowes to see about some mylar today. I havent had any probs with the alumn. foil, but Iam not wanting to press my luck this far into this project. I will post pics of my girl when she wakes tonight as she has been awake for the last 12 hours... PEACE...

I have taken 8 clones from her thus far, and it just seemed to me that it was taking a little bit more recovery time every time I did this,, (2 at a time). So curiosity got the best of me about how she would look with buds dripping all over her,,,, soooooooo IIIIIIIIIIIIII did it. and now there is a new mother in da house and lots of flowering goin on,, Im goin for some scarey halloween bud, followed by some very giving thanxgiving bud,, just to be outdone by the festive christmas eve/day bud,,followed by the grand finally skunk bud that will be a perfect end to a not so perfect year. There,,,,there you have it, thats my story and Im sticking to it. thanx for the input, and here are some pics...

buds getting bigger everyday,, noticably bigger,,, today is the 17th and it has been 3 weeks today, and starting to see the colors change from white to light red or orange.... holidays are a comin!!!!!!! had two more cfls in the room but, needed them for the little ones. Oh yeah, by btw, that shop light kicks ass, its their favorite.... peace....

cut down, hung up, and in a canister (airtite) and first plant is fully ready,,,, WOW POTENT SH1T,,,, didnt expect such a potent batch for my first try but like I said WOW.... I had a few friends come over to try some, just in case it was my imagination since I am the one who grew it, but, nope it is some high powered ganja, just nutin quite like great seedless smoke...So I have 2 more budding at present, and the only thing I want to change is my lighting,, I do like your setup humbolt, I have the wood for mounting but how would I do that double light system, Im thinkin drill 5 holes, but how are they fixed to the plank??? Any way I got just under 2 ounces from plant 1 with cfls and a shop light, thanx everyone for the help, and maybe after my next few plants I will be able to help others in their time of need...

A picture would of been nice, You'd have to find the right kind of fixtures, I got lucky and found a handful at a thrift store, however they sell the same fixtures at ace hardware, you could probably find them at any hardware store.

Also you could always build your own (even cheaper) go out and buy the tubing/threads nuts and sockets put them together ad some y's.

I see you guys were lokking at the dollar store but ended up with the wrong stuff. Your looking for polywrap wrapping paper on rolls.It will look colored like pink , green, red, blue, purple from the outside its the back that is uncolored. This stuff is actual mylar just thinner but for the money works good heres a fe pics to kinda show.Youll see this roll was a pink color on the front but the back is regualr uncolored mylar.Theres some on the walls in the pic too but you can see it on the roll and I put a piece face up to show its coloring then face down to show its shiny side. $1 a roll

I couldnt find any gift wrap at walmart at all. Then again, I wasnt looking that hard.
