My First Grow Ever[Updating Frequently]

I just transferred most into 3 gal buckets which I plan on using to finish the grow in, I ran out of soil for some of the rest but they are small and should be okay with what they have at the moment. In need of a little more cash haha.
I'm trying to get ahold of more CFL tubes since the buckets are going to make a lot of space, I'll LST them at first once they get settled in so they go towards the light so that should be fine for a few days.

Currently wishing my paycheck would come a couple weeks sooner.
Used fertilizer for the first time today, 7-4-7.. I think.

Will post pics soon. Thanks for reading :)

*also, I need to drill holes in the bottoms of the buckets for drainage.
borrowing a drill tomorrow.
lol.

Setup and plants are looking awesome! How's that dualcolored leaf? And...what's the significance of the girl on the bike again? I think I missed it.

Never put the plants into the pot ..... then drill holes. You probably knew this and just got to excited and couldn't quite wait another couple days. I was the same way but ive learned the biggest thing with plants is patience. When you go to water again don't feed first time and let what was suppose to drain (when you feed first time) drain.bongsmilie

The leaf is the same color as it was, its just a bit bigger now. maybe a little bit greener towards the stem.

The girl on the bike is just something awesome I saw.
She has a weedeater/chainsaw or some other motor on her bike. Haha.

I will remember that, thank you. I'm going to pick up the drill now.
So, how often do you think I should feed though? btw the plants are perked up and everything.

I'm going to try and get some more light fixtures today.

Drilled holes into the buckets and put them on the floor.
I got another light fixture, currently trying to get more light fixtures. I'm going to need them.
I also need to get more 6500k tubes.

Pictures soon. :)

You can start using nutes now. I would start with 1/4 of the dose the instructions say to give then work your way up from there. You really have to feel your strain out to see what it likes.:leaf:

Hey everyone, haven't updated in several days.
Are you hungry? :)

My camera is dead, but I'll try to take some more tomorrow.

what i've done:
-raised the lights, about 6 inches to promote some height.
-transferred most plants into 3 gal buckets
-watered twice, fed once.

I'm going to feed again tomorrow, about half or 3/4 the recommended amount.

I'm excited! Haha.

Also, i've been planning on doing some more LST but I get home at about 9:30, 10ish and that is when my dark period starts, so I'm going to do it in a couple days on my day off.

Holy shit everyone.
You're all going to shit bricks when I take some pics tomorrow.
STAY TUNED.

I LST'd the rest earlier today but I wish I had taken some pictures first.
Some of them are MONSTERS.
(At least in my eyes)
Wow.

I didn't realize how big they had gotten until I took them all out to LST today.
Wow wow wow.

I love nutes. :)

thank you, they're already much bigger.

I think I'm going to invest in 2 400w HPS systems to finish the grow and use my current CFLs on the side etc.
I'll take any suggestions on the lights I should use though, what is best coverage etc, I think I'm going to have my friend help me wire some 220v in there, maybe that will help with the power bill eh? I've heard it does.

Alright, I've ordered one 400w HPS, I'll buy another one when I get the extra money for it.
Keep checking ;)
any advice?
its welcome.
thank you.

220 volt is slightly more efficient than 120 volt, but thats just what I've read. I've only used 120 volt ballasts, but I'll tell you for sure that HID stories about producing bud is no myth. HPS lamps will grow far denser buds and far more of it. If you want a good yield, shoot for 4,000 lumens per square foot, if you want an awesome yield shoot for double that.
