My first whole room SCRoG

Hey everyone.

I guess a little late to the party with a thread for this one! Lol.

I figured it may be nice for some to see the progression of a SCRoG since around the 26th April 2021

The pics begin after i have topped and then cloned one of the tops.

some statistics of the grow so far.

to begin with I was humidifying the area as when I have young plants the humidity is always low >20%

Nutrients used or on hand.

Dutch pro hydro coco Grow A/B (my staple nutes)

Dutch pro hydro coco bloom A/B

(I was solely using GROW but after seeing a lot of people using BLOOM and having issues I figured I would try using the bloom for flower this time to hopefully help those that are struggling with EC values etc)

plant magic Calmag
(when needed) for me usually I need Calmag quite often as I have 0.2EC source water and over the years I’ve seen that I needed slightly elevated levels of Ca and Mg.

Epsom Salts (usually sprinkle the coco during flower once every week)

MKP - 14g dissolved into 100ml water makes a solution that increases EC by 0.15 (approx 130ppm) ***edit*** at 1ml per 1 litre of water.

currently the plants are receiving 0.7EC daily feedings (Source water 0.2EC) at pH6.0.

Looking nice. I have to try a ScrOG for sure. Constant tieing and LST did me head in last time. That's some good progress for four weeks. Good luck. Good to see it in action.

My canopy was a 2 stage canopy due to inadequate training. 12 main colas up top and a whole hedge of small heads underneath. The top ones are getting 900umol, and the lowers struggle along with like 300umol max. I'm annoyed that I didn't do this sooner instead of messing around with ties endlessly.

I tired a manual ScrOG with wool and I tied each cola to the tent instead of making a net for some retarded reason lol....and it worked for a few days Until I realised Id have to tie down every day or so and lost enthusiasm. Biggest waste of time...ended up with an uneven canopy and wasted time.

This was a single gg#4 auto at week 6, second week of flower just after attempting to level the canopy. I've got two GDP and One blackberry Gum this time in the 2x4. I don't know how I'm going to fit it in considering one was a squeeze. I'm definately running a ScrOG for sure but I have a feeling two will be a stretch of they end up as big as the last one after six weeks.

thanks.

I’ve done single plant scrog before but never dedicated the time and space to a full scrog.

400w HID MH/HPS
6” VK 450m3/h fan
temp fan controller set to 24C
Rhino pro 900m3/h filter
3 passive intakes
80w heater
2 air movement fans (more if needed)

That's a nice setup...I've got one 220cfm fan and 200cfm filter, no intake and I'm only on 240w worth of cheap led. I look forward to seeing the progress.

Nice work nice to see a true scrog see so many peeps saying scrog but just growing plants through a net ☮
Agreed hence why I thought it pertinent to actually do it properly lol.

that’s not to say that I will Completely fill the screen at the end of the stretch though so we’ll see
If I’ve worked it out correctly when I stop tucking lol.

Forgot to also mention that I’ve been spraying once a week with a beeswax Triacontanol solution. Couple of drops in a litre of water.

yesterday (last few pics uploaded) they received neem drench too.

this will be the first and only neem spray that I will be doing.

Also forgot to say that the clone that was in the earlier pics is now in my compost bin.

I doubted if there would be enough room to continue growing the clone due to the screen and the way the plants will ultimately end up stretching.

I’ll be in my room again tonight so will show you all the growth over night that’s raised above the screen.

Little update of pics.

first pic is before tucking the rest are after.

as you can see I’ve began to twist some of the growth around the scrog net.

thinking later on, this may provide some support to growth above the screen.

0.7EC pH6.0
25L container
50ml Dutch pro hydro coco grow A/B

12/12 approx 5 days in (soon I will have forgotten how many days of 12/12 the plants are at lol)
