If weather permits, I'd say do it.
If you intend to plant them in the ground, I'd wait until soil temperatures reach 55 degrees. Until then, a black pot is a warm spot to hang out until the ground warms.
I guess I should mention "hardening off" plants grown indoors.
In my own case, I use large CFLs and have never had an issue with moving young plants into direct sunlight.
If your plants are under small CFLs or old style florescent tubes, there's a chance that direct sunlight will bleach the existing sun leaves. They become paper thin and die.
The best way to acclimate the young plants is to put them in a spot that gets direct sunlight only in the morning, and/or evening, until the plant has added a couple more sets of leaves.
The new leaves won't have bleaching problems, and will support the plant while it adds further growth.
The original, indoor produced leaves will probably still bleach out and die, once exposed to direct noon sunlight, but now the loss won't be catastrophic.

Figured as much, but wanted to mention it, anyway.
This time of year, someone always chimes in about their bleached out leaves.
About the only things I do indoors, anymore are make clones and sprout seeds. When the seedlings or clones are ready for one gallon pots, they go into the greenhouse with extra lights and heat, as needed.
The greenhouse is a great mid step in the hardening off process. I lose almost no sun leaves, because nearly all the growth occurs in the greenhouse before they go outside.

I only have two males left. One Magic Carpet Ride, and an old school Durban.
There are also two small plants that haven't shown sex. One MCR and one Durban, I believe.
I'll be freezing most of the pollen, today.

I think you will see some interesting stuff this year.
I have a bunch of projects going.
I'm growing my "Starburst" along with both parent strains. I've backcrossed them several ways.
Next year I should have the crosses I want reinforced and somewhat stabilized. Hopefully, 2012 will be the year it is finished.
Fun stuff!

I went to your thread to look at your set up, but don't want to wade through all of it, tonight.
Sorry to hear of your troubles.
A sexed plant with at least six leaf pairs, a foot tall is worth $25 where I live.
Hell, newly sprouted seedlings in peat pots bring $5+.
A plant two feet tall and sexed will bring $100 in May.
Regarding "hardening off" a description of your lights, etc. would help.
"Sunburn" occurs when a plant is started in weak lighting conditions and then moved into strong sunlight.
I move my plants into a greenhouse very young(read back in this thread). The light is bright in the greenhouse, and acts as a mid step in the hardening off process.
Put your babies under a tree where they'll get direct sunlight early and late and shaded from about 9AM to 4PM. Or get a greenhouse.
I hope things are going better for you.(And quit doing shit that gets you in trouble! Being a Grandfather forces me to say that shit.)

thanks. i have a 1000wt light mh but dont have the space to put them out to harden off and im afraid if i take them to the spot and put them under a tree a day or two the wind blow them down the side of the hill

If they are under 1000w MH, I'd say there shouldn't be any issues with hardening off.
They gap between sunlight and a HID light is comparatively small. I'd say plant them outdoors, ASAP.

subscribed... you seem to know what your doing and have sme great plans going by the thred topic.. you my friend defo need some rep 
i notice uve opened al the pollin containers next to each other.. not a good idea.. (contamination would be minimal if your really careful but could happen easily enough). but then again im a really fussy fuck i basically let otega die because it wasnt going how id hve liked... the missus had a party and i couldnt move or pot the beans soon enough leaving me with what i would call not a real satisfactory number..Plus im still going through the court process and thinking about moving (the popo been around my area a lot lately and dont get me started on the fly overs lol...
end results i just called it quits and cut my losses got JL to work on now amongst others. woulda been cool to show yas a nice ozzie landrace though.. oh well i still gots mother sativa i suppose.
this cat looksa lot like my recently lost friend.... butthead.... died after the police raided my house... he was an awsome cat, quiet, self composed with an awsome personality.. he was a real staunch cat and a real individual... loved the herb too. he was always out smelling my plants... my dog loves em too

In my first years of breeding, I was far more careful with the pollen.
As time passed, I learned to handle the stuff carefully. My shed has very quiet air unless I run fans, minimizing cross contamination.
I have a volunteer in one greenhouse whose parentage is questionable. The last time this happened, the plant produced a kg of wonderful sativa kholas.

im just a bit of a headcase like tht .... the ocd makes it so much worse lmfao. like i said when my head thinks something i have to do it... like abandoning otega... oh well got bigger and better plans now lol.

I'm sentimental, as well.
Fuzzy is very special to me. He's "my" cat, while the other three are more attached to my wife.
When I'm outdoors, in my yard, I can be assured he's not far away. Usually watching me, or cat napping in a chair.
