Sick man! Lookin really healthy. Sorry to hear about the PM.

I had huge issues in my last grow but have negated it completely
in this grow, here are several differences I made which I believe
played a part in my removal.

1. Bleached the tent, hoods, fans, pots, etc.

2.Feed Azamax as a regular additive once a week at about 1-3 mL
per gallon as the plants grow, until about the 2nd-3rd week of Flowering.

3.Consistent, strict foliar spray once a week consisting of Ed Rosenthol's Herbal
Fungacide, Einstein's Neem Oil, and a personal product which helps raise the pH.
Mildew's can't stand high pH environments. Prevention is the key to success.

You mind sharing this personal product that changes the PH?

I've saw a grow in which the PH was lowerd with lemon juice in the foliar spray to prevent mold.

Exactly, PM is like herpes for plants. Once it is within the cells of the plant, there is no
gettin rid of it. Exactly why a systemic prevention, such as Azamax is key, because
it is already within the cells before the PM is. Thanks for the rep tho, always appreciated. :bigjoint:
ok cool that makes sense then wat he was saying. again thanks for the info and ure welcome haha

I meant personal as in whatever is accessable to you,
some use milk, some use algae sprays, such as Rhizotonic.
I use Rhizo, and a little of this foliar feed from Sonic Bloom.

Baking soda works great.

I think the dude in that grow who used lemon juice (Bad idea,
better to use pure citric acid to lower the pH) had it backwards,
because I was tought differently.

I'm going to have to disagree. I don't have time to find the page but it here

https://www.rollitup.org/outdoor-growing/184331-garden-weeden.html
What you're saying is like disagreeing that the earth is round and rotates around the sun. These
are experiments which have already been documented and completed.

" Spraying leaves with baking soda (1 teaspoon in 1 quart water) raises the pH, creating an inhospitable environment for powdery mildew. "

That is straight from my Horticulture 101 textbook, but I guess you'd have to disagree
with any textbook wouldn't you. I mean you can always google it right? Thats what
all these internet professionals do nowadays right?

The "page" you can't find really won't change anyones mind.

It's pretty simple, in low pHs mildew thrives, high pH environments
are inhospitable.

good disussion fellas, anyone else with PM could definitely benefit from it :blsmoke:

but at this point, no more signs of PM. Im still waiting to borrow my cousin's burner but who knows if I'll end up getting it from him so I think I'm just going to get some sulphur pellets/discs and make my own candle to burn in my room w/o the plants in there.

Ive been treating every other night with 1 tbsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp of dish soap to 1 gal of water and it seems to be working because no new signs of PM, but I try to make sure the plants are just about dry before putting them back under the hps to help prevent burn. only a little burn so far but nothing that has inhibited growth.

but to dc: my bloom room is in the basement but I noticed the PM when I was vegging in my closet so pretty sure a couple of the master kush's had it when I got the cuts. the master k's seem to be more prone to PM.

hope everyone had a happy Tax Day yesterday though. the Tea Party at the sac capitol was another success so keep shakin libs, we're coming in November :blsmoke:

Sound like you've got it all under control bro. I was thinking about posting the exact mixture but you already have it straight down. hehehe I think you'll be fine. Crazy, I would have thought that the PM came from the basement logically, but I guess it didn't. Don't you love the little surprises that come along with getting clones from other people? :x

Hahah, exactly, thats the reason i'm done with receiving clones from people, never
again, I've received PM, mites, thrips, and even a root fungus which was carcinogenic!

Yeah I've only had mites donated to me so far fortunately, but that's why unless i REALLy know you, and I've seen your grow like recently, then I just take seeds. Seeds are good and clean. Clones are usually not.

definitely going to treat the next batch a little better and check them a little more thorough :wall:
but I finally got my hands on a buddy's burner and have ran it once so far without the plants in my room for 2 hours and plan to do it again tonight so hopefully no more PM. but I plan on treating them a couple times with some organic spray my ma gave to me just in case. it completely cleared up this black mold on her roses so hopefully it can do the same on PM. I'll update with pics later

today's my 21st birthday tho so I might be a little busy and drunk to post pics :bigjoint:
