It reads, time to let doctors decide what's best for patients, how about let patients decide what's best for them,I thought a lot of doctors were against cannabis because they won't get there kickbacks from the big pharma, but they use the method of saying cannabis doesn't really do anything

Pretty sure it means, Doctors instead of the Government. Let's try to be positive. All states medical programs require a Doctor to sign off.

I'm 100% for not blindly following brother. Read all the info about law change. Make an educated decision. I wish more people would! And thank you. bongsmilie

Is there any list of ailments that will qualify a patient for use? Or is this initiative simply telling us to let the doctors have say in any case despite what ailment a patient may have? Just wondering if this will turn into one those, "only if you're on your death bed can you use," initiatives.

Cool, and thanks. Im glad we are trying something like this. Hopefully we can win this one.
I hope so too bro. Missouri plays dirty, our 220000+ signatures were rejected. Every Prosecutor and Judge in this state seems to have their own agenda. When the question is posed this is the answer we keep receiving.
"As Missouri prosecutors, we've all taken an oath to uphold the Missouri Constitution and the Constitution of the United States. The U.S. Constitution is clear: Missouri laws cannot contradict federal laws. You can't choose which federal laws to obey or not obey."

What about the 26 states that already have a working medical cannabis program? Did the federal government disown them or declare war? Did federal support stop? Did anything happen other than they made money from taxes?
I'm sick of my state and most of the people that live in it.

Including Dwight Scroggins, a prosecutor and real p.o.s. but I hope together we can defy the blockers of change and get this on the Ballot. I am grateful for New Approach Missouri and Show Me Cannabis for all they have done for Cannabis in the Show Me State. Update: New Approach went before the judge today and will continue to plead their case tomorrow. I hope we learn tomorrow what the decision will be.

This is sad. Any little slip up and they are so freaking quick to kill any chances of legalization. The semantics they used to kill this initiative are so stupid. This goes to show that the law makers of this state do not care at all about legalization, its not even on their radar. Theres too much money tied up in big pharma. Research especially. Places like "Bio Pharma" out of Columbia are taking millions upon millions of dollars from the state to research cutting edge pharmaceuticals, and continue to push chemical medicines. Thats just one i personally know of. Why would they want to go against the grain here? This is probably going to help my decision to move my family back to the southwest. It sucks because i like Missouri, and my wife has family here. The law makers running this state? They can take their pharma money and shove it straight up their asses. Smh.

Anyone in the Missouri area, we need more signatures. Limited time to get this done. If you have family or friends in the Missouri area that hasn't signed please pass the link around.

Stash Toker The same will happen as last year where the petition enters the final hurdle "St. Louis County" and the republicans in charge of the county insured not enough legal names. Oct'16 there was a purge so the last names needed to clear the hurdle were removed and thus the Medical Marihuana not allowed on the ballot.

Missouri doesn't want to lose the money that's pouring in (convictions for anything to do with cannabis) it's a freaking joke that law makers would rather fine, convict, jail, imprison to keep the $$$s flowing anything for a new cop car/SUV costing 70k plus, the money floods police departments so they can build there arsenal and keep people safe......safe...hahahaha they are responders after SHIT HAPPENS

You know as of the 1st January, under 10g is a misdemeanor, no jail. Progress anyway.
