Newbie/Novice ready to buy a grow set up please HELP!!!

Hi Guys,

I apologise in advance if this has been asked a 1000 times.

I have done a lot of research over the last few weeks but I just can't seem to identify what setup is best for my situation so I'm hoping you experienced people can help me out with your knowledge.

I am going to be indoor growing in the UK in a spare bedroom that isn't that big. I'm looking to grow no more than 6 plants at anyone time but happy to do 4 if space and yield becomes a issue as I've heard less is more sometimes.

I'll be looking at a tent of about 1.2 x 1.2 x 2. Originally I was going to buy an all in one grow tent kit but after doing a bit of research it looks like these are cheap options that always break and you end up spending twice?

I have a budget of around 500 pounds but will stretch to a little more than that if it makes sense to.

In terms of lights from what I have read LED seems to produce less heat and use less electricity and that as a first time grower appeals to me for obvious reasons.

I suppose what I'm asking for is recommendations on what epuiptment to buy around my budget?

1. Is it better to buy a kit or parts individually
2. What light is going to serve me best for 4-6 plants.
3. A decent tent that is 1.2 x 1.2 x 2 (I've been told green quebe)
4. What size and make fan for 4-6 plants
5. What air filter would be best for me
6. Any anything else that I would need and help my setup to be the best it can around my budget.

hey man u are in a can not fail op i get it

1 DIY can come out exp if u are not so inclined ( but the chips are epistar and the drivers meanwell best on market i know of partly date info tho)

2 your not thinking right how many feet (sorry usa) are u going to give to the plant use
think of a foot print the light is only has so much power it can only do so much area (the center is the strongest the edges lose some PAR)
now each light has a foot print ( best and maximum) based on the shape the lens ........so say u grow your plants in 3 gallons at most the plant will take up 1.5x1.5feet but if u grow it in a 7 gallon planter the plant could be 3x3 feet........so it really depends on the how big u want it

3 Look at Secret Jardin tents a DR 120 will get u 4 plants with a 2x2 footprint for them..... a DR150 would be better if u want 6 plants even with 4 plants it would be a 2.5x2.5 foot print

4 the size of the fan depends on the size of the grow are LxWxH gives u cubic feet u want a fan that can move all the area in your grow area with in 5 mins or less ( dr150 is 150cubic feet a simple 6 inline booster fan is strong enough to vent that ......i personally used a 6 inch fan 400 cfms on a speed controller )

5 the answer to that is a Active Carbon filler......as what one to buy up to u as long as it is Active carbon ........just rem the filter needs to be matched to the fan so u get a good even drawl over all the filter and last the 12 to 15 months

6 to make it simple and easy on yah
A get the go box has all u need for several plants and is organic so flushing ....feeding plan is on the box all in one kit
B i would grow auto flowers they will allow u to work on feeding and remove the light restrictions ( a all in one LED would do veggie and flowering on the same time table allowing a rotation in that area)
