Obomber had a big campaign organizer involved with mmj in Colorado. Probably helping them gain a foothold in the Bay Area. He is a whore like 95% of the politicians in this country.

Yep. That sounds like exactly what is happening. Lee can't get his organization out to support legalization if he is busy trying to stay out of jail.
Yup and precisely where would he focus whatever money the feds did not freeze or seize? That's why legalization requires a huge lobby. It's easy to pick off 1 point person this becomes almost impossible if the power is distributed and cloaked in a corporation. Frankly all these raids are beginning to seriously worry me. I think big pharma has it's solution and is getting ready to take back control and get ready to feed their solution to the pre-made target population of MMJ users. They'll be able to save us with safe, effective and sanitary pills from all these dispensaries who sell moldy weed etc...

LoL. Moldy weed. Sucks to live in SoCal. If it's not lab tested, most dispensaries won't take it up here.

Well that is an interesting point but testing doesn't prove it's mold free. All testing proves is that the sample the lab tested was mold free and who precisely picks the sample to send? LOL That is why the cannabis growers need a fairly aggressive lobby of their own before big pharma owns this (well more than they already do).

Tripping, not sure you live in the same cali as me.. but SoCal, Home of the best bud on the planet. I would never travel up north for Quality. We have it all here in So Cal, closer you get to Diego the better it gets. Indoors FTW.

Inland Empire is the Mecca of Indoor Bomb. <3
Depending on who you know. I do not go to dispensaries for Bomb, Ever.

I have been to all seven continents of the world. I now reside within the state of Washington. I lived in Berkeley and Bakersfield for a total of 9 years. I have smoked budz from both the north and from the south. From Sacramento to San Diego. That state has some of the best weed in the world, known to man. It is a mecca of modern day cannabis to say the least. But for myself, it is not the home, of the very best cannabis I have ever had the blessing of consuming in my life :)

Great indoor is EVERYWHERE IN CALIFORNIA, doesn't matter where you are. Norcal has better outdoor, I've seen some Santa Cruz Mountains outdoor that will beat almost any other outdoor you could show me. There's also the triangle and Shasta all the way down to Tahoe region. Please don't start this dumbass argument in this thread.

I just signed a measure to decriminalize pot today. Hopefully that makes it to the ballot and the raid on Lee proves to be moot.

All this is exactly why I'm against legalization. Look what happened to a perfectly good weed to smoke in tiny quantities in a pipe. Tobacco.

I do not want to see Big Cannabis, to join the ranks of the other Bigs. Medicalize, not Legalize. Too many stupids in this world.

You can still buy good tobacco at many tobacco shops (at least in my area), nice loose leaf stuff, you need to smoke it through a bong/pipe cause it's kind of wet. And you can still buy great beer (another industry people compare cannabis to) from microbreweries. Sure there will be crappy main stream weed if legalized, but the connoisseur market won't disappear.

Just had this conversation with my boss...you're both right. He likened corporate weed to Budweiser. MicroGrow will become the rage.

i think the most important part of legalization would be the fact that millions of peoples lives would not be ruined due to legal troubles. i think this is more important than whether or not there will be cheap shitty mass produced weed. remember marijuana is a plant and anyone who can grow it can make good marijuana for themselves.

Too true. I can buy it legally, in this state. But, the prices!!! That's why I grow. My very first batch was easily as good
as the "top shelf" high priced stuff at the clinic. And I don't pay the enormous TAX.

The socio-economic phenomena of punishing the lower strata for cannabis consumption is beyond cruel. They can't
afford the lawyering to keep them free.

So, if the only way out of that is legalization, I'm for it. But, the punishing will continue in another form, I'm afraid.

So you think people should continue to be sent to prison for growing because you don't want people to have the option to buy crappy mass produced bud? That seems kind of selfish.

i think people also have the choice to move out of a conservative state and get their med card.. thats what the united states is. you could live in texas and be persecuted for growing or live in california and be seen as normal
