Is it alright to take clones from plants that are about 7 weeks into vegetative from seed and about foot tall, maybe a little less.

I have the Medical Marijuana Growers Bible and it says that a plant should be at least 2 months old before taking clones or risk them growing slowing etc, etc...

Do you find this to be an important rule? Later when I get everything in my room up and running I will have a flowering room and a vegetative room and was planning on taking clones from the vegetative plants right before moving them into flowering which would give the clones 2 months to root and grow before I took clones from them for the next cycle. I was going to grow mothers but with the limited amount of space in the veg. room I don't know if I will be able to.

Just wondering what your advise would be
Thanks,
:leaf:

Ok heres some pics fer ya doc.babys are 23 days old but dont seem to be growing that fast.Maybe its just me but they still look like they're over watered.I let them dry out really good last 2 waterings and there about dry again(cups are light).Been watering about once a week or every 8 days. They have grown about 1 1/2 inches this past week but up untill then they just didnt grow much.I made it to the hydro store and got a couple bags of ocean forest and 2 more bags of perlite.Should I transplant them into bigger pots with the o/f soil or keep chuggin along with the cups.
Been feeding every other watering with big bloom: starting ppm of nutes was 150 and bumped that up 100ppm of same nute last watering(255ppm of big bloom).Lime was added to the top of the cups on the 29th of january with just a plain watering.Put your eye to them and see what ya think on growth and let me know if I should transplant them or not.

You need to feed them befor you transplant---do you have the "growbig"?---you should be feeding now with everyother watering about 600 to 700 ppms.

Doc, Should I incorperate tiger bloom and big bloom in it as well. I am already using molasses. The nute is 5-50-17

Shes 12 days into flowering.....

I have all three but the last feeding(last week) was still just the big bloom. This watering should have been just water, so do ya want me to hit them with 600ppm of the grow big this watering and transplant now or wait untill next watering?I've feed them big bloom every other week makeing this my water only week and next week is or was feeding week.Is it better to transplant them wet or dry? 1 more prolly dumbass question.Should I add perlite to the ocean forest or use it straight out of the bag?Dam shit soil :wall::wall:

Ok--Lets get your plants healthy befor transplant. First pull off the dead yellow leaves. Then we will mix up a batch of nutes for your plants---BigBloom is very mild alone so we need to dose your plants with a balanced feed. What is your water source?

ppm of my last watering was at 459.255ppm of big bloom and the 204 of the ph'ed water.Ph'ed the mix after adding nutes to water.

Ok---take 1 gallon of water and add 1tlbs growbig and 1tbs of bigbloom--then add more plain water till you hit the 650 ppm mark. Then PH this to 6.3. and feed all the plants untill 10% comes out the bottom of each cup.-- note:is the soil really dry????

Ok---go ahead with the feed. Do you have any seaweed products/superthrive/powerthrive??----If so add 1 or 2 drops with your GB/BB befor you balance your ppms.

nope dont have either of those. Now I'm doing the ppms right by minusing the 204 of the straight water from my mix so i should be shooting for 854 with the water I have, correct?

Ok the deed is done.Poor things.Set the ppms to 650 of both the grow big and b-bloom.Ph'd to 6.3 with run off at about 6.0 or there abouts.Dont have a ph meter just going off the color chart.I re checked the water before adding nutes and came up with 220 ppm.added a tbs of both nutes and added more water untill I got to 870ppm then ph'ed and feed to plants.poor things look so bad after the trim I dont even want ta post a pic.
I was gonna pick up ocean forest and start with that but the girl down at the hydro store talked me into this cheaper shit :wall::wall:.She was kind of cute but prolly just cost me 3 weeks on my grow :wall:.Hmmm not happy. But only way ta learn and was offered clones but wanted to start from scratch just for this reason.Theres a lot of newbys like me reading this and learning too, so no worries. Thanks again doc for your help.Been over 30 years since I could do this legal so 3 weeks anit shit :bigjoint::bigjoint:.

I had to take off for a min----NO---the ppms should just be set to 650 but you should be ok---watch for the signs of burn. They will fill in fast and you can transplant in a week. Pick up something with B1---I recommend power-thrive with B1.

Ahg shit.now I didnt set the ppms to 650 of EACH nute but total of both.should I not count the water ppms into the factor then add 650 ppm of the nute?
