Feminized South African Sativa
70-80 days

Pretty stoked about these. Grew a Malawi last year and loved the trip from Africa.
There are three growing and I'm waiting on the fourth to emerge. Experiencing inconsistent
germination with these due to improper storage on my part. Swapped out CFL for LED
and so I'm curious to see how these changes impact the grow.

17, 16, 12, and 3 days

This is the first grow with a new led for vegging. Previous lighting was (16) 23w cfls total of 368 watts. The new light is a 200 actual watts Galaxyhydro (Chinese) cob purchased on amazon:

Noticeable drop in heat, from low to mid 90F to upper 70F - lower 80F with comparable to superior growth rate.

I realized that this journal could be confusing what with four different plants and me listing these random day counts out of order, so here's a summary: Four plants, each is getting topped twice. First topping is at the second node. The second topping is on the upper shoots, for a total of six tops per plant. Next update I'll make sure to get all the plants in on one posting to keep things more organized.

I pruned off the lower growth and this had made a big difference.
