Reflow soldering: Anyone have experience?

I am having trouble finding people that have experience reflowing solder and I'm curious why. I'd like plan on using this technique to use the latest XPE series LEDs and to get the wavelength blend I want. Anyone else out there already forged this path and can give tips? Youtube has a number of videos that make it seem easy enough, but I'm still curious why more people on RIU haven't tried it out. So, anyone out there have any best practices? Tips? Ideas? Comments as to benefits/drawbacks?

If you are looking for a cheap way to get into leds, then look at the indoor LED section. One COB, one 60 watt driver, one heat sink, one plant should = around 2 ounces. Single diodes, in my opinion is only cost effective for factories.
