ROCKET PLASMA GROW

I have only seen the 3000k bulb option for sale online so far. Did they offer any other spectrum bulbs when you ordered your Rocket Plasma? Just curious.
they do offer 5500k and another one. But as the chief physicist stated it doesn't work like that. For our type of growing their par bulb is it. This is by far one of the best companies I've dealt with. I can actually call and speak with Tonya the brains behind the technology.
Yeah yeah people it's an original tesla design. But he's not here

Thanks for the reply, I am anxious to see this thing in action. This "Rocket Plasma" may be what I need. I need a low heat and low wattage light that can flower up some dense nugs and provide some UVB all in one light and this looks like it has all that. If it can deliver on the dense nugs then I am sold. Like you, I am just growing for myself. So a high wattage light isn't wanted or needed. My focus is quality rather than quantity. How many weeks do you estimate that pepper plant has?

They better come with a hard selling game because the solar genesis chameleon has a 500 watt unit (plasma with 4 150 kessil led's around it) coming out in july for about 1k.

Rocket plasma seems to be only offering a 240watt.

heres the thing this is a 230w one bulb system made to keep all costs down and it will replace a 600 watt. Not a 500w non flowering plasma emitter with another companies lights zip tied to it. Again this grow will prove that rocket plasma will flower unlike the rest of the gavita knock offs

I'm sorry but I will go with technology over wattage any day. Wattage is just a number.

So far temps in a 2.5x2.5 tent is perfect 66 morning time no light with light 73 degrees 37% humidity one small fan passive intake and exhaust. My reasons for a 230w not 500 not 1000. Small wattage low heat less intake and exhaust equals savings in money each month same if not better yield

Excellent, thanks for getting this started.

Comparing the "Chameleon Grow Systems " plasma and the "Rocket Plasma" from what I have been able to see and read online (no 1st hand experience w/ either), as far as using one lamp through out the entire cannabis grow if the "Rocket Plasma" truly puts out the spectrum the company says it does (which I have no reason to not believe). Then the "Rocket Plasma" looks more promising in my opinion. Hell, I could tie 4 Kessil Leds to the "Rocket Plasma" if I wanted to match the "Chameleon Grow System".

One could argue that the "Rocket Plasma" PAR bulb only lasts 9 months but. How many HID bulbs does the typical HID grower usually replace in the same amount of time to get a similar spectrum? What is the amount of electricity you run through just to power and cool a HID setup to get that similar spectrum? In my opinion a 9 month $100 bulb life is a moot point when you look at the benefits from it versus using a HID setup to get similar spectrum results. Even "Gavita" who uses the same technology and bulbs that "Chameleon Grow Systems" does, acknowledges that their plasma lamps are best used to supplement an HPS when it comes to flowering.

"The 41.02 emitter is specifically developed to provide high quality light, close to sunlight. This full spectrum is in particular suited for vegetative phase and for example mother plants. It can also be used together with HPS for the generative phaze.

The 41.01 emitter has less red and increased color spectrum where the HPS spectrum stops. Because HPS is more efficient in producing red light this is the best combination for the generative phase, but is is also suitable for a short vegetative cycle".

Well said so far so good. And red only starts degrading at 9 months.

So its been 10 days now. Temps are great humidity is at 27% during daylight hours 39%-41% nightly. My poor clone has bounced back and in ten days is looking at a full recovery.. I normally wouldn't save it but its a special original strain of pk ripper. Those who are watching this is not your 4 week boom flower grow and done. This will be a painstaking 8-12 week grow. so be patient and enjoy what this Rocket Plasma will do.. Note this is not a yield grow this is simply a small grow 2 plants top.. This is an experimental grow.. Thank you for all that will be watching..
