It's OK for you to make up your own mind however you like. I'm just saying this shit is so common and the cost of coming forward with a complaint is so high that I'm going to believe the woman first. I'm not talking about legal proceedings, just my own opinion.

I think it does not look good for Franken to have so many accusers, but how many are conservatives? How many are going after money? He didn't rape or kill anyone so I say give it a review panel if he claims innocence. But I respect where you are coming from in terms of zero tolerance for sexual harassment.

I was willing to suspend belief or disbelief when the first woman came forward but after the third and then more, I'm convinced that he misbehaved. From what I've heard, it was unwanted attention and touching that went on too long and went past the point where the woman could just laugh it off. Every woman who has been comfortable enough to open up on this topic with me has told me stories like this. Its so common that I simply have to give the women accusers the benefit of the doubt and not the accused. This shit has got to stop.

I think that Franken being forced to step down only seems harsh because it is so unusual to see a public figure being taken down because of unwanted and beyond acceptable grab ass. We will see whether or not this is an aberration or something real has just changed in our society.

Right wing politicians are most certainly not going to step down due to these kind of accusations. We will see if they made the right choice or not.

Franken did it so when the Democrats dig in deep with Moore, they have some moral justification to fall back on. Without Moore and the shit he's currently entangled with, I doubt the party would support Franken stepping down, especially if it means one less Democratic voice/vote in the Senate.Dude fell on the grenade just to challenge Moore

For all of our sakes, I hope the Democratic Party can do a better job of standing up for working class people.

Think of the Progressive Movement as a leftist version of the Tea Party- which was highly successful in dragging the Republican Party even further to the right.

It will give Democrats cover, incentive and encouragement to start doing better by the rest of Americans, not just the 90th percentile liberals living on the coasts.
 
Looking past the fact that the Executive and Legislative are currently Republican controlled, do you think the Republican party is healthy right now?

I think the tea party was a poison pill and suspect the Justice Democrats would be too if there were more than a few hundred of them.
