I wonder why he didn't go out shooting? He had all that Kevlar, even the crotch and neck were covered, seems like a waste of time to buy all that and not even test it out, also makes him a pussyx2!

Agreed, but some carry laws are written poorly. How many people could she have saved?

On October 16, 1991, 35-year-old George "Jo Jo" Pierre Hennard, an unemployed merchant seaman who was described by others as angry and withdrawn, with a dislike of women, drove his blue 1987 Ford Ranger pickup truck through the front window of a Luby's cafeteria at 1705 East Central Texas Expressway in Killeen. Yelling "This is what Bell County has done to me!", Hennard then opened fire on its patrons and staff with a Glock 17 pistol and, later, a Ruger P89. He stalked, shot, and killed 23 people while wounding another 20 before committing suicide. Approximately 80 people were in the restaurant at the time.

The first victim was local veterinarian Michael Griffith, 48, who ran to the driver's side of the pickup truck to offer assistance to the driver after the truck crashed through the window. Hennard also approached 32-year-old Suzanna Hupp and her parents. Hupp reached for her revolver in her purse, only to remember she had left it in her car to comply with Texas law. Her father Al, 71, rushed at Hennard in an attempt to subdue him but was fatally shot in the chest. A short time later, as Hupp was escaping, her mother Ursula, 67, was shot in the head and killed as she cradled her wounded husband.

During the massacre, Hennard allowed a woman and her four-year-old child to leave. Another patron, Tommy Vaughn, threw a chair through a plate-glass window, which provided an escape route for himself and other customers.

Hennard reloaded several times and still had ammunition remaining when he committed suicide by shooting himself in the head after being cornered and wounded by police.[SUP][2][/SUP][SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP]

i highly doubt unless you were that nasty of a shot anyone woulda taken him out. it would have to be a dome shot considerin all the body armor. on top of all of that he threw smoke grenades which woulda made it very very hard to even get a shot off esp without hittin innocent ppl yourself. its just a very shitty situation that really only coulda been avoided if they crazy ass dude would have been sane an not thought he was the joker.

now the story winter woman brought u
p is the very reason that pisses me off about gun laws. she shoulda had that in her purse. if you have it for self defense there shouldnt be a reason why you arent allowed to have it on you at all times without havin to spend a boat load of money an a paper that says you're not crazy....cause that would work. lol i bring my gun with me all the time except into stores just cause ppl would see it thru my shirt as i dont wear baggy shirts. id run to my car if need be tho an i always have a knife on me.

such a sad situation an i ho
pe that torture dude for weeks till they off him after him sittin in prison gettin ass fucked for a wholeeee lotta years.

Why did they take away the electric chair? Murderers should suffer, never liked that whole inhuman thing we have to pride ourselves on. They should tie their legs and arms to horses.

Sad news, been alot of these in recent years, and from some suprising countries. I still feel horrible thinking about Norway.

If I lived in the USA, would I own a gun? Hells yes.
If I could have legal guns in my country, would I? Hells no.

The onion is usually a joke, but sadly this is true.
http://www.theonion.com/articles/sadly-nation-knows-exactly-how-colorado-shootings,28857/

WASHINGTON—Americans across the nation confirmed today that, unfortunately, due to their extreme familiarity with the type of tragedy that occurred in a Colorado movie theater last night, they sadly know exactly how the events following the horrific shooting of 12 people will unfold.
While admitting they "absolutely hate" the fact they have this knowledge, the nation's 300 million citizens told reporters they can pinpoint down to the hour when the first candlelight vigil will be held, roughly how many people will attend, how many times the county sheriff will address the media in the coming weeks, and when the town-wide memorial service will be held.
Additionally, sources nationwide took no pleasure in confirming that some sort of video recording, written material, or disturbing photographs made by the shooter will be surfacing in about an hour or two.
"I hate to say it, but we as Americans are basically experts at this kind of thing by now,” said 45-year-old market analyst Jared Gerson, adding that the number of media images of Aurora, CO citizens crying and looking shocked is “pretty much right in line with where it usually is at this point." "The calls not to politicize the tragedy should be starting in an hour, but by 1:30 p.m. tomorrow the issue will have been politicized. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if the shooter’s high school classmate is interviewed within 45 minutes."
"It's like clockwork," said Gerson, who sighed, shook his head, and walked away.
According to the nation's citizenry, calls for a mature, thoughtful debate about the role of guns in American society started right on time, and should persist throughout the next week or so. However, the populace noted, the debate will soon spiral out of control and ultimately lead to nothing of any substance, a fact Americans everywhere acknowledged they felt "absolutely horrible" to be aware of.
With scalpel-like precision, the American populace then went on to predict, to the minute, how long it will take for the media to swarm Aurora, CO, how long it will take for them to leave, and exactly when questions will be raised as to whether or not violence in movies and video games had something to do with the act.
The nation's citizens also confirmed that, any time now, some religious figure or cable news personality will say something unbelievably insensitive about the tragic shooting.
"Unfortunately, I've been through this a lot, and I pretty much have it down to a science when President Obama will visit Colorado, when he will meet with the families of those who lost loved ones, and when he will give his big speech that people will call 'unifying' and 'very presidential,'" Jacksonville resident Amy Brennen, 32, said, speaking for every other person in the country. "Nothing really surprises me when it comes to this kind of thing anymore. And that makes me feel terrible."
"Oh, and here's another thing I hate I know," Brennen continued, "In exactly two weeks this will all be over and it will be like it never happened."

Shooting aside, we went to the movie yesterday. Very dark, very intense, and very good.

Mind blowing how much abuse one man can take
