Should I buy a vaporizer?

Yeah, the Mighty looks nice but is too pricey for me. Especially my use case.

I didn't mention it, but I don't use a lot. Maybe once or twice (occasionally) a day and just 3 or 4 hits. Usually before bed. Cannabis is for managing anxiety and to sleep better. The other effect is that I have no interest in drinking alcohol ever again.

I've been considering the Dynavap since it looks like you can use just a small amount and no battery. :D
If you’re not using that much don’t invest a ton on a vape. You’ll find something cheaper that will get the job done. I bought this with the hope of pressing plants before long and not having to mess with dry herb.

Thanks for the replies. :bigjoint:

I quit cigarettes about 6 years ago, but lately I've been smoking enough cannabis that I've been coughing up tar. Also I'm sure this Backwoods kick I'm on isn't helping.

I've been considering a vape for years but I'm afraid I won't like it or it will be too weak. I don't know anyone with a vape, I've never tried it.

I would love to do just vaping and edibles.
I got sick a couple weeks ago and couldn't smoke and now I'm set on a vape.

Unfortunately, with the shutdown, it is on hold. :peace:
Edibles, I also have a Pax 3 and a Solo.

If you need a good solid vape, say no more fam
Dynavap.com

The M is the base model for $75 and that's all you need except for a butane torch lighter. If you get the fat mouth piece for an extra $2 it'll fit into any 14mm glass like a bong. Need to learn how to heat the cap up properly, or you could buy their induction heater for it, but once you learn that it is an absolutely fantastic device. I bought an M over a year ago and immediately turned around and bought a hydravong from them and its all I use. Gave my M to a friend and bought my mom one and that's all they use now too outside of the occasional joint. Actually built my own induction heater for it too. You can't really beat the price of it. There is no easily breakable parts as its all stainless steel or titanium, no electricity needed. Just the Dynavap M, a butane torch lighter, and some herb. It may not be as easy to use on the go as the Mighty or Tera Vape, since you can't just push a button, the M takes anywhere from 8-40 seconds to heat up the cap depending on torch and technique, but you don't have to worry about batteries or anything either.

yeah depends how you heat it, if you heat it around the middle of the cap it will click sooner and you will get a more flavorful hit but not as much vapor as if you heated it towards the bottom. You can play it with it however you want tho. I can clear a bowl in 2 hits with the way he does it in the video and it still tastes good and yeah, clouds. Or I can start heating at the top and work my way down and get like 6 hits of out a bowl, tasting great the whole way down. It's whatever. The induction heaters are pricey and don't offer the choice of how to heat it but they do offer like an 6-8 second heat up time and no torch. There's battery one's too.

If you really need to be mobile with a vape though and can't be spinning with a lighter, I'd look at the Tera Vape, or the pax 3. Mighty if you really wanna spend the money. But at that point i'd rather buy a Cauldron or a Port Side Mini for the dynavap and call that a day.

Ok that makes sense. He just said you lose the Flavor which is what I like.

I had a Magic Flight Launch Box years ago (actually still have it, just don't use it) and I never really got into vaping with it. I got a Dynavap M last year and have completely stopped combusting since I got it. It only holds a small amount (0.1g) but that small amount tastes incredible and hits hard once you learn how to use it correctly. They are great to use at home, especially if you buy or build an induction heater for it, but they suck to use outside if it's windy or cold because that causes them to cool down too quickly. They are having a preorder sale for their new model right now (20% off the entire order when the 2020 M is purchased) that ends at the end of the month. So, if you decide to get one then it would be worth getting in on the preorder. They have pretty good customer service, too. I had a tip that seemed a little off to me and, after I emailed them some pictures with a question, they said they couldn't see anything that stood out as an issue but sent me a brand new tip, which fixed my issue.

I ordered my vape today. I ended up going with the Storz n Bickel Mighty. Looks good for my needs. I hope it's worth the premium price tag.
:weed:
So worth it. I love mine. Comes apart easy to just drop in alcohol to clean. Good luck finding that right now lol

I just put my dry herb right in. I don’t use the dosing tablets.

Should I switch to vaping?
I'm looking for heavy vapor, I smoke a lot, like several fat joints a day.
Is the Storz n Bickel Plenty going to satisfy me?
:weed:
no dont get vaporizer ,get a bong or organic wild natural, pure rolling papers with filters. Study have shown recently that vaporizer is actualy worst methot. it causes popcorn lungs, the vaporizer is made of chemical inside. Than smoking joints that is if the rolling papers are organic, if they are bleached its wrost to. best methot is bong made with organic natural wild pure glass and with pure water inside of course I have seen people use bongs with no watee :eyesmoke::joint:bongsmilie

Those studies were from bunk ejuice's and not very indepth nor are there many studies. The "popcorn lung" was from diacetyl(the stuff they put in buttered popcorn, hence where the term came from) and any reputable ejuice maker doesn't use that.

Anyways, we are talking dry herb vaporizers not liquid like I think you meant. Good points though ^^

I've had an Arizer Solo portable vaporizer for over 10 years. I run a pretty thorough market research before I bought it. It never disappoints. It's the "truck" of vaporizers. The battery life is amazing and the thickness and quality of the vapor has no match. I only vape at night. If you will be vaping several times a day I would recommend one of their desktop vaporizer, Arizer Extreme Q or Arizer V-tower. Good luck and happy vaping.

Vaporizer or not cannbis smoke isnt actually that harmful to your lungs as the cannabinoids in cannabis actively negate most of the bad side effects from smoking it... cannabinoids respond and only fire in our enocannabinoid system located throughout our entire body and all of our organs and their sole job is to return your body to homiostasis (and thats the feel good not the high im referring to)... there has been plenty of research to prove this and too many tests to refference any one but you can find this information readily available with a little bit of initiative and research... out of non smokers, tobacco smokers, and heavy cannabis smokers the least likely to contract lung caner is heavy cannabis smokers followed by non smokers (of anything), and most likely to contract lung cancer being tobacco smokers... put that in your pipe, roll it in your joint, or atomize that in your vaporizer and smoke it ;)
Yeah but you need 50% tobacco in yer joint or it don't burn right.
Got two dry herb vapes ......... 25% the effect of 50/50 tobacco/cannabis smokes (for the same amount of cannabis in both) IMHO.

The popcorn lung news is old news and was always nothing more than a scare tactic to push people away from vaping and back to cigarettes. Even though diacetyl was found in small quantities, in some of the custard flavored e-juice, nobody who vaped it was ever diagnosed with popcorn lung. That said; the type of vaporizer being asked about doesn’t even use e-liquid. They are asking about dry herb vaporizers which do nothing more than heat the flower enough to vaporize the weed without combustion. Herb vaporizers are a lot healthier than smoking.

I’m not sure what you are trying to say. Can you clarify? There’s no need to mix tobacco into joints for them to burn right. Very few Americans mix tobacco on with there joints and it seems to be more of a European thing to do.

If you are comparing a dry herb vape, being used with 50/50 tobacco/weed with a spliff, then the reason the vape isn’t hitting you as hard is because nicotine has a much higher vaporization temperature than THC.

I switched to dry herb vaping about a year ago and it has cut my consumption way back. I can get pretty baked off of vaping 0.1g of flower through my Dynavap.
