Snow storm ultra or crystal burst?

I'm in my 4th week of flowering outdoors and I've been looking for something to increase trichome production. I came across snow storm ultra, and I decided to give it a try. When I went to the hydro store today to go buy some, I was torn between snow storm and crystal burst. I asked the guy at hydro store and he said that snow storm is better for increased resin production so I went ahead and bought it. But I still have second thoughts about it because it said that you're supposed to start giving them snow storm in veg and you don't have to do that with crystal burst. What do you guys think, would snow storm work or should I go back and exchange it for crystal burst?

I use the snowstorm ultra and i like it. I run it from about week 4. I handfeed coco in 5gal pots and feed out of 45gal rez so I feed with the snowstorm once a week about a capfull or one and a half, it hardly raises my ppm but its very powerful. Too much will burn your girls quick even in that much. At least it did to me when I tried to up to every 3 days ha. I thought humboldts (right?) discontinued the crystal burst or had it pulled they get raided alot I hear haha but I could be very wrong. If so i apologize. Anyways I like the snowstorm and that's how I use it for coco. Ill toss some pics of with/without tmro or ill try. I I wish you the best of luck.

ogderp, I have used emerald triangle's stuff for a few year's now and love it ,couldn't imagine grow'n without it. I like to stack crystal,snow storm and gravity together. I don't use any of them in veg though.I start as soon as I flip 2 12/12 with crystal and snow and add gravity at week 4. they also have the purple max but I don't use it,prefer snow storm ultra over it,suposed to give you purple bud on some strain's.I'm not concerned about that though and have alway's had better result's with snow anyway's.So my opinion is to keep the crystal,go back to store and get snow ultra also. I think you will be very happy with the result's.hope that help's! stay safe

Thanks, I've been worried about what I'm gonna do as far as flowering nutes go. I'm giving them maxsea bloom once a week, and I'm going to start giving them humboldt nutrients ginormous bloom booster with their next feeding, and when I water them i give them 3 tbs of organic blackstrap molasses. I've been scared that giving them this variety will burn or kill them. Do you think I will have success increasing trichome production with just snowstorm? And how much should I give them to avoid burning?

ogderp,yes,i'd say you will definatly notice. Have you ever checked out heavy 16 nute line? That's all I use now,they have a 2 part for both , Veg. A-B and Bud A-B, they also have one called Fire used in flowering and one called Prime used in veg. and flower,and just added root's stimulator. All easy to use, I use rainwater and after mixing don't even need to adjust Ph. I used to run foxfarm,and have nothing against them they have a great line. Just have better result's with heavy 16.I do still use Open sesame fromfoxfarm,it is a granular and is awesome for developing flower site's. I hit it once a week for last 3 weeks before I flip to flower and get crazy amount of flower site's. As far as how much snowstorm to give I do 5ml. or 1 tsp. per gal. every watering. Heavy16 nute's every other watering.

I ran some with and now I'm without... Pg 38 in my second link shows a bud at day 40 using SsU ... The first link just hit day 40 and I'm not seeing the same frostiness... So I just picked up a bottle yesterday and I'm adding here on out
