Youre right. I came along with 26-28 till now with 600 hps with cooltube. Its my first grow i knew stuff but zero experience. I will try leds sooner or later but no budget at the moment. I nearly have 2 weeks to harvest i will have to finish this with this.

leds will reduce temps

Reduce what temps...

The leaf - no you have even more light by your claims so thats more radiation heat energy.

The air - no thats still circulating at room temps hps or led. Light dont heat air directly and its moving too fast to heat up much past ambient anyway.

Sounds like you just put your thermometer under the light and thought hps is hot.

Reduce what temps...
under driven new gen COBs or custom made Led panels. will run at 25c.

Temps dosent matter alone, humidity also is a key factor for growth health, for you to understand you have to study VPD.

and this is what matters, and its easy to calculate, google VPD and you will come across many charts that will explain the whole deal with temps and humidity.

VPD dosent work unless you have every measurement and theres more than just temp humidity and todays air pressure.

It dosent matter what running temps of a unit are, you go try invent a cold laser and get back to me when you understand heat and light. A hps unit gives out very little heat, the light however is hot as radiations like that and due to laws of thermodynamics leds cannot work around this loint. If leds give out more light the leavescwill have to cool more than a hos meaning the led was hotter to the plants.

And im totally ok with that because this is a site where you talk led vpd boveda and need a ton of help working out how to dry cure and humidity.

Quite confident i dont look half as stupid as a lot here even the whole backwards industry lol.

your making a joke out of yourself man all over RIU.

im not promoting for let over anything else, im just saying you can build ur self an led light with best quality for cheap. and this for sure will bring temps down, make ur own nutrients, and ur own soil.

i have never paid anything much for anyone. planning to invest on a good seed.

ur just an angry guy, but deep inside i dont think you are mean, and no one said that you stupid. i respect ur opinion sometimes.

With the light he is using and even leds you don’t want to run high humidity late into flowering for risk of rot or powdery mildew. I follow vpd as much as I can until around 3-4 weeks of 12-12 then I try to keep humidity around 60% or less

Hey fellas . Is this place correct to put the thermometer ?
That looks like an ok spot! You can move the probe if you want to I think that type of meter will take two temp readings. One at the unit and one from the probe I think. Some do the same with humidity but some only take humidity at the unit.

i would put the probe at the intake vent it does measure temperature twice. If it doesn’t That looks like an ok spot to me

What are the day and night humidity and temperatures now??
Looks much better bro!
Unfortunately humidity is 78 lights off ,temp 25 . Lights on temp 29,5- 30 is still hight but much better for me and humidty 50-55 lights on. I have one of those humidity sucking tablet inside not sure if that works. 1593085438223.png

78 % night humidity must be fixed!!
is the fan off at night?? why do you think it gets so high? This could ruin your crop

is the temperature dropping alot at night? High temperature changes can also spike humidity

Fan Works 24/7 . Weather in İstanbul is famouse with its humid :(
so then your whole house must be 78% at the night cycle of the tent then?

Your tent if venting properly should be pretty close to the temp/humidity of the house that it is pulling from.

there are things you can do to prevent mildew and mold but that is a super high spike.. I wonder what we can do to solve that..

İstanbul experiences significant seasonal variation in the perceived humidity.
The muggier period of the year lasts for 3.0 months, from June 15 to September 15, during which time the comfort level is muggy, oppressive, or miserable at least 12% of the time. The muggiest day of the year is August 4, with muggy conditions 48% of the time.
The least muggy day of the year is December 10, when muggy conditions are essentially unheard of.

this is a tough time to be finishing out the flowering plants.. I would like to make some more suggestions.

Do you think you could take some pictures with the HPS lighting off and some natural or regular lighting? That would help out getting an idea of what we could modify

this is good info to have... Next time you grow and plan on flowering this time of the year, you could get a strain that can deal with high humidity. during the rest of the year it looks like you may be OK
