Some questions about pollination..

By accident my friends plants most likely got pollinated by 2 hermies :( The sacks were open ("bananas" were visible) so i guess that means they managed to spread some pollen?
Obviously he threw them out, and is going to clean the room. They're about 3 weeks into flowering (counting from going 12/12).

How does pollination work, do the females need a constant flow of pollen to generate more seeds, or is it more similar to a human getting pregnant (once is enough)? I mean if he clean the room now, not that many seeds will be produced because the flow of pollen has stopped?

Many thanks.

Where pollen lands on the female flower, it will produce a seed. Not a pregnant thing. This is how people to selective pollinating. Take and do one branch.

Sweep and vacuum thoroughly, then spray the room with a bleach solution, and I doubt you'll have any problems with rogue pollination next planting.

Good luck

I had a hermie on my last grow outdoors. I had 10 plants all within a few feet of each other. Only the plant next to the hermie was pollinated. Hopefully your friend will be as fortunate, and won't get too many seeds.

Thanks.. i bet the fan that's in the room will have spread the pollen to all the plants.. not that i've ever noticed that weed with seeds is THAT much worse anyways (THC wise).
