Taskenti from Cannabiogen. The real hashplant

I believe that I've already passed the most demanding moments in the Thai - Mextiza breeding project for this year, so I'm feeling again the need to sprout more Taskenti seeds. It is cheap to grow weed now in summer, I can have the plants under a window. I'll visit the fridge tomorrow to get some dozens before they get old.

I'll probably do the systematic cloning and selection.

Just curious to see what the colors are like they show better without a flash. Blue one is flashed
I'm sorry, but these pictures you put as a example are just terrible.

Colors don't match at all and the shots have been taken too close, so these pics don't give a good idea of what we have in front. No perspective, no context.

I'm happy with my photographic skills. I've made pictures of whole plants and single buds and in most of them there are references to the size and a quite respectable color definition, as you can see if you take your time to look at the thread pictures. There is none of this in your examples.

By the way, there are plenty of pictures I made without flash. Have a look for example to the first post, half of the pictures have been taken without flash.

This summer I planted some Taskenti F2 seeds I made with a selected female clone years ago, I grew them outdoors for a while and them straight to 12h. The results were very good, although I usually give a far longer vegetative to any plant I grow, so these stayed small.

Excellent process, you must really have found your grail to go thru this work to achieve it again. Any plans on a seed release? Great work bud
I'd like to keep it going, but I don't think that Fxs will get me there. I need to keep working on it, basically in the effect part, but that would need to cross with something else that don't change the original spirit. Probably more years of work

These are two neglected cuts from one of the plants I selected in the last run. They've been at 12/12 for just 6 weeks.

During the summer I had problems with this strain, this plant didn't like heat at all and the buds I got were little and airy. Popcorn shit. But now with the decent temperatures we've got here, she is getting her mojo back.

I've just realized they are full of mites, not really a problem, I'll get rid of them. There are 3 weeks of fattening ahead, you can make a guess about how the result will be. But I forecast a quite nice lot of hard tasty medical bud.

Well, most of the plants are around 40 cm tall. It is going to be a good moment to switch the timer. 9 weeks total between planting and flowering.

These are some males I keep. They are under a window, and I hope they will produce some pollen I can freeze. I already killed the ones I didn't like. In a couple of weeks I'll have all the males figured out and I can make a better selection.

Cheers
Thanks for sharing your grow! A lot of information here for others on the same path.

question about your males. Do you have like an actual setup just for the males?Like specific lights?i was wanting to collect pollen from males removed from growing space too.

Will the males be ok to bring out of the tent into a different room under standard house lights under the window?

Okay, thats some investment I must say, but in the long run, considering power usage of the Hps vs. Leds
I due believe its worth it. I have looked on ebay and amazon, many options on Led lights and so many prices.

Could find the nCitizen you mentioned, but many many other options...

Next time around perhaps Leds :-)

Have you ever grown the Hasplant from Sensi Seeds? I did many moons ago, but didnt quite like the high althought taste was ok, guess the right pheno wasnt there.

Have a good day and weekend...
I ended up going with the HLG QB but COBs were my other option.
Timber Grow lights sell COB the type to OP is using.

here’s another site that does a DIY COB that might help with cost

one other COB that comes to mind are the optic led

Have since then actually bought 2 smaller led lights, but thank you for the links.

But have not really used these leds successfully yet, hence I am and have been battling with slime(cyano bacteria) in my reservoirs, constantly getting this after a few days, for the past year now. In my 15 years plus at this, it has been the hardest year ever, hopefully some Heisenberg Tea will now do the trick, hence nothing growing, nothing to smoke. And I dont like absence from that...

Have a good day.

My bad should of took a look at the time stamp!

sorry to hear that! Is that due to the new lights or something else? Sorry, not familiar with hydro.

These are two clones of the current Taskenti cut I keep in 4l pots. They became bigger than expected. I took some cuts one week ago and now they are big, full of branches and tips and ready for flower room.

There are some mildew spots on some leaves and I'll have them sprayed with soap and oil, but other than that these dense bushes look lovely.

Excellent!! I like the idea of focusing on a single strain. I reckon once I find that "one" ill try something similar. Keep up the good work :blsmoke:
