I'm about to order some seeds but I can't decide which strain to get. its pretty much a toss up between vortex and querkle. I'm looking for some opinions on which way to go. AOS and PB look good too. somebody please help me out.
Depends what you're after... They're completely different strains, with different effects. The vortex is going to be more energetic, good for daytime. Querkle is much more indica, so better for a nightcap.

Damn.... Why is it that all the best pictures on RIU are always TGA gear? Subcool, you're the man! Oh and thanks for creating querkle, the best strain in the world.

Taking great pictures of cannabis is a double art-form, if you will. Not only do you have to grow great looking flowers, you have to know how to take great photos. This type of work requires a passionate hand and a certain level of sophistication. Not trying to sugar-coat or be pretentious about what we're doing here, but there is a reason that you are seeing a correlation between TGA Gear and passionate cannabis growers who evolve their endeavors by incorporating professional-grade photography.

TGA Gear is bred with the intention of being potent, flavorful, and photogenic. I'm not saying this is the end all be all of cannabis- I run gear from *plenty* other breeders that I completely trust and respect. I grow my yielders, I grow night time meds, what have you. But when it comes to pristine headstash flowers that just *beg* to be photographed, Sub's gear is a consistent treat. Like I said before: Get with the program :)

How's the yield Matt? I've been thinking about giving either Plushberry or Querkle a run next time, currently my only TGA strain is Apollo 13.
I can attest to the fucking massive attack this plant will put on your room. Ive grown out 10 querkle, two keepers. One short and tight, second taller and slightly airyer and had like a fuely kerosene funk too??? anyway both good. Plush, I got three ladys from, the first (sadly) punked out. Sub was very honest and straight w me on this said it happens w about 5% of the beans. An acceptable risk when the reward is the biggest yielding plant i have ever worked with... The best bud structure, smell, color, smoothness, and stone. Its straight euphoria. and a true monster. thats pheno three, number two had little color and wasnt as big of a yielder. Everyone that even opens a jar of plush will instantly be intrigued and want to go further.pb3 016.jpgthis is one plant, usually it would be two from my room for this much :)

ps I miss u guys, I was robbed :( I'm far enough outta the woods to say that it was my roommate afterall was said and done. Totally lame, but I hear karmas a bitch. And Sub (IMHO the best breeder in the game, and one of the nicest CEO's Ive ever had contact with.) took care of the issue by doing exactly what any of you would have in the same situation and hooked me up with enough gear to get going again. So to subcool, once again thank you, u da man.

Thanks for the info. That's about exactly what I needed to hear. My area is somewhat limited, so I have to focus on those special few strains that are both top shelf and good yielding. It can be a delicate balance.

good yield. typical indica growth and structure.
Thanks. About how much are you pulling per plant? You run a very similar type of system to what I do, so I'm curious what kind of numbers you pull. The Apollo 13 I just put into rotation yielded just a hair under 5oz.

My plushberry pink pheno yielded way better than my green one. Pink ones revegging, finally throwin out regular 5 poiny leaves.

About to be cloneville. The best definition I've heard that closely describes the taste is "fruit floral kush".

However the smaller green pheno was super frosty but I'm about the pink.

I'm wondering how much my pink pheno relates to the BCS mother.

I'm guessing my pink pheno is quite similar, from dank 2.0 the traits I recognise are super stickiness, underlying kush taste (which I doubt comes from space queen), and obviously the pink coloring that starts by week 3.

I only ran three plants from seed, kinda hard to relate that to clone yields.
