My employees who make $15 are not adequately trained for more than entry level work. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean they aren't skilled. Typically they possess a minimum of a 2 year degree in a hard science ( I prefer 4th year college interns ) but no real hands on experience. I pay my interns, but they only work as many hours as possible so as not to interfere with finishing their education.

You losers here really have no idea what the world is about today. Join Uncle Buckeys Liberal Welfare Parade, the rest of us have more pride in ourselves.
2-4 years of college to get out and make 15.00, wow, what a career and life choice? is this what you consider successful? I made 15.00 the day I started in the union when I was 19. What do your employee's top out at? When I left after 10 yrs I was making 32.50 on the check plus benni's and have a vested retirement. Shit I bet it would piss your employees off to no end knowing some 25 y.o kid with no college education made over 80,000 working in the bay and HI on pretty much a working vacation. How much self worth do you think they would have knowing that? who do you think they would consider a loser then? College doesn't make you successful.

took out the recycling, trash, paid bills, bought some flip flops. gonna take the dogs for a walk to the park later, make some dinner for the wife.

I can do twice as much as that in a single hour. You are either really slow and lazy, or disabled. Mentally disabled we are already sure of though, so no justification for that one. What physical maladies do you suffer from?

In an hour I can:

Check 3 grows, 2 mothers, adjust PH and water levels. Tidy up a bit, change nutes out completely. neem them and trim off any dead material, take out the garbage and check the mail, then go fly my airplane for 30 minutes.

when I had my place, I could scythe, bundle and stack an acre anna half of hard winter wheat in an afternoon.
*puffs out chest and kicks dirt like a rooster*

keep it on the bundle and thresh, and grind as needed. it mellows, cures, and develops complex proteins if kept on the stalk. man...........that's bread.

that's part of it.

prices go up whether min wage does or not. that's why we need to index min wage to inflation.

but when min wage goes up, prices do not go up as much. meaning min wage gives more buying power to consumers, which drives the economy and helps lift people out of poverty, if they so choose. some will choose not to, that is called freedom.

i just want to show these hysterical morons with their hypotheticals about million dollar min wages what idiots they are.
It only gives more buying power to those who were under the new minimum and got a raise.

If you were already above the new minimum, your purchasing power took a hit.

You are an anathema to common fucking sense.

My highest paid inhouse employee makes 79K. My two sales reps usually make more ( salary+comm ) but that is no given. Average employee makes 51K. INTERNS make 15.00 ( working PT )...what bubble do you people live in?

Sorry you had to spend all your hard earned money on living expenses/housing in the "bay/HI", I know how expensive it can be to live in such places, We live in a part of the country where costs are much more sane.

Do note that it says sample.

it also leaves $800 for discretionary spending.

I will say though that making ends meet on 2k per month would be difficult.

Perhaps people ought to consider that when they drop out of high school.

You can make more than this doing just about anything

only people who never did anything make this little.

I had income like this when I worked at subway. I remember I got my first paycheck. I had worked half the week, started on a Tuesday I think. Three days on the paycheck and i got a check for like 160 bucks. I felt worthless (I know, you think I am) I felt even more worthless the next week when a full week got me a whopping 250 dollars

only works in warm environments where gasoline is free and health insurance consists of a few bandaids and tylenol.

You mean after I got out of rehab and didn't have a job, after I spent every penny I and those around me had on drugs?

Yes they did then. But that was a year ago almost bucky.
