I feel like Crypto was sort of a litmus test to see how many morons are greedy... especially by blowing up its value. How can a BTC be worth $68,000 one month, and then $15,000 the next? ... and exactly who collected those losses from the fools who invested in it?
FIFY.

That's what the movie NOPE is all about..Hollywood Greed in chewing up and spitting out people, animals, everyone in front of the camera and behind; the Spectacle of Greed and Spectacle for Spectacle's sake..think 'you had me at INFLUENCER'..a horror that you can't turn away from..thinking about taming the untamable.

The Spectacle turning on the Greed..with the Greed finally being consumed by The Spectacle.

"Kinda" thought about buying in the dip, but that intagable object makes me nervous.
Here's my advice to you..buy in with any money you don't expect to ever get back..like throwing it in the garbage..why don't you go with something you may have a chance at?..online sportsbooks..your own bookie at your finger tips..I'm sure you probably already do..guys like that stuff.

Lottery? At least you have some chance..especially with scratch offs- I buy one $2, ticket when the pot gets to Billion level and guess what? I never even get enough numbers to make that investment back..

A reporter did a story for Phillipines accepting Bitcoin, so he made a $200, deposit which took time to show about 15 minutes and it was already down by $20.

I have a pretty diversified investment (excluding my 401K)... mostly the energy sector. Which is taking a beating today for some reason. Like I had said somewhere else, I wished I would have had the foresight to buy in on MRNA, and Pfizer back in 2019.... win some, miss some.

Just some wipe on poly.
I worry about that stuff which is something that heats up and atoms exchange. Quickest way to Multiple Myeloma IMHO.

Dad was a cabinet maker..used Formica in the old days and the glue that went underneath along with shellac.

He never went to Vietnam but those same chemicals were used.

I only coated the outside, the the inside, bowl and rim around the bowl is just raw wood. I carbonized the rim before using it. I have inhaled enough questionable stuff in my time, trying to keep it to a minimum.

well, that's good to hear, but he has nothing to do with the case against trump, trump hates Avenatti...he was stormy's lawyer, not trump's.

You missed the point.

From soup to nuts = from beginning to end

Trump doesn't have so much as an outstanding parking ticket (Lewis Black) because he doesn't even fucking drive!!!!!! They can find a way to bring Avenatti to justice AND jailed; but Trump?

I'm pretty happy about crypto blowing up. Made some good arguments to professional money management folks about it being like putting money into beanie babies. People won't stop asking about it though.
When a value is put on a material item, that value can be anything..BUT will the market bear the cost?

I used to make this argument when selling pre-owned Volvo..we have black book to guide us but the condition of the vehicle could warrant +/- because there is only one like it..a cherry 240DL low mileage no rust because Florida fck a Scion pull up in that baby? and it's Caddyshack!..my boss personally picked out my 95 940.

It's same with housing- upgrades are for your enjoyment..they look at comps..square foot, bed, bath, pool and water categories (canal, deep water canal and oceanfront). Ultimately what the market will bear.

wasn’t it mid-90s when the Volvo sedan went from el boxo to gorgeous? All of a sudden there were these lovely windswept shapes.

I had many takeaways from that job; I was there 2½ years..never prequalify someone based on looks or dress, every customer with respect, every time.

It was my first real sales with commission, bonus, spiffs and a $200 week guarantee. Only once did I have the guarantee. My Sales Manager taught me all the secrets:wink:

Indonesia’s parliament has overhauled the country’s criminal code to outlaw sex outside marriage and curtail free speech, in a dramatic setback to freedoms in the world’s third-largest democracy.

Passed with support from all political parties, the draconian legislation has shocked not only rights activists but also the country’s booming tourism sector, which relies on a stream of visitors to its tropical islands.

Newspapers in Australia have labelled the legislation the “Bali bonk ban” as the law will apply to Indonesians and visiting foreigners. More than 1 million Australians visit Indonesia each year, with many heading to Bali for its yoga retreats, surfing and all-night beach parties.

Sucks, high on my list.

But then who needs tourists when you can just mine rainforests for nickel
