The Late 30s Suck For Guys?

Thanks for all of the interesting input.
Indeed there is a lot to be said for "you're as old as you feel"!
There is a lot of truth in this cliché.

However, from my vantage point, (55 plus) happiness is a relative concept.
Life is filled with unfortunate shite; sometimes simply weeding thru it evokes happiness!
My most tumultuous years were my late 30s and early 40s. Divorce sucks.
Chasing after, and landing, young, fabulous babes can get old, I never thought I would say that, but…there it is!

I'm 33, over my midlife suicidal-and-take-'em-all-with-me crisis. I think having a horticulture hobby along with all the fun woodworking and electrical activities that go along with it have made a tremendous difference. My ex-wife is the same age as me, but she still looks 18. There's another good reason to hate her. My current love of my life is 42, but lives like a 20 year old thanks to me. She used to be uptight, but I'm changing that

I think I like my mid 30's just fine. My business is starting to boom. My wallet is too thick to sit on. My woman kicks ass. I don't even miss getting a little "vaguely familiar" from my ex!
