Hey Nugs the 18/6 is working for stretching. 2 days they already have an inch between nodes. Before it was just a few cm between nodes. :hump::hump:

same size.....she has to be mature enough, with enough root mass to handle the intense bondage, so try not to hurry into it....you will know when......she will be in the slow seedling phase, and you will be thinking..."fucking come on already"....then she will shift gears into true veg, and start taking off....that is when she is telling you she is ready.

I am pretty stoked this thread has over 12,000 hits in just 4 weeks....i really believe it is just a matter of time before a whole lot of growers world wide will be main-lining....it really is a fucking game-changer!

So Nugs, you would say wait until 8" or so tall before that very first cut regardless of whether we want clones or not

It really is a game changer, extreme bondage is where it's at. My yields have increased so much because I don't get any LARF anymore. And it's a rare occasion that my plants stand over 4ft off the ground.

We are beyond this just being a space saver, but actually increasing quality and yields at the same time. Sure there is daily work on the plants, but for a personal gardener I am on them daily anyway.

I have been working with 2 nodes for a while now and seeing great yields with an even trained canopy but this method is a bit easier overall and from what I have seen increased my yields even further.

Now, there are tricks I have found... personal ones and strain dependent ones. I have settled on 8 heads for now, I think that will work.

Cant wait to show off the ML'd Vortex and Space Dawgs.

Nugs, ever think of listing out the TGA strains that perform best Mainlined? Like a performance review? I know Vortex is a bit more finikey when being mainlined and the DQ's performed amazingly. I'd be willing to put in some info. I am sure there are a couple other Nerds doing some mainlining on other strains. Budologist has that bad ass TW.

Just a thought. lets compile info!

OK.... well here in the last couple days they have both seemed to take off. Growing 3/4" to 1" in 24 hours..... I transplanted yesterday. SO I won't be doing anything to them but watering for a week or so to let them settle into their permanent homes. I transplanted them at just the right time. Had visible small roots throughout the 4" pot. But not big main roots circling the container.... I like to transplant before they are rootbound. Now they are in "smart pots" so I shouldn't have to fret over them being rootbound now.

shit ya bro.....it is just a matter of time, and personally think it is perfect for Sub's new book to be lagging a bit....i really think main-lining should be featured within the pages, mostly because so many nerds are following suit.....i will be working more TGA....and you know everything will be mainlined, and thoroughly documented!.....lets just keep piling material into the mainlining thread....quality pics and content.....if it happens to not make it into Subs book, it is destined to get published somewhere!....it fucking needs too.....i have submitted the idea to HT, and TY, but they have yet to bite....i just really think that it will be a big loss to the publications that slack on picking it up!...i just have a gut feeling....and my gut is never wrong....great work bro!....nugs

I remember subcool talking about this on his show, Im going to give it a try, looks like it really helps with yields. All your plants look really Nice!
