thanks Mate, i have been using cal mag bloom but it has quite a bit of nitrogen in it also (6.8% i think) but have read that during flower it is advised to decrease the nitrogen and i gather A+B have enough and a bit concerned but it hasn't caused no harm as yet. maybe its best to find a cal mag without the nitrogen or should i just feed it once or twice a week as its been going in every day for the last 3 weeks.
well feeding her cal mag every feed would make sense only if she had some problems , or you know that your water isn't so good, if both of them are not the case then using it every second feed would be better

try not to worry to much coco growers have grown plants with only A and B from start to finish and did great, ones you have your first coco grow under your belt, you will see how easy it is

yes it works fine for SOG but not ebb n flow.... you want drain to waste
Crap, I just got Canna Coco, Coco A&B, Rhizo, & PK13/14. But I have Ebb & Flow tables.

Has anyone used Ebb & flow with these nutes successfully????

Are you suggesting I cant run a recirculating system? I need to convert over to a drip & figure out what to do with the waste that drains off??? How much waste are we talking about here? A small amount that would be like 1 gal or less per feeding im hoping....

My growshop has stopped selling Canna Cogr slabs and want me to start using Canna Coco slabs instead. I have two short questions regarding this:

1) The Coco slabs are not as big as the cogr slabs. Since there ought to be less space for the roots, is it really possible to get as good results with Coco as Cogr slabs?

2) My Cogr slabs managed to keep the PH level on a good level without me having to think about it. Is the Coco slabs just as good in that aspect?

How many ml of boost should I be mixing with a gallon of water if applying as a fokiar for the first couple weeks of bloom? Do you balance the ph before spraying?

Hey guys, no one responds to this thread incase you havent noticed. Like the last 10 questions have gone unanswered including mine. LOL

I can help shed some light on your PH foliage spray question though. Not sure on the Ml/Gal of boost, refer to the bottle. If it dosen't say 2 Ml a gallon should be sufficient, but forget the PHing before you spray. Ive seen some people say go to 7 but IMO its a waist of time & ive also heard many people say the PH on your sprays doesn't matter at all.

Rep+ if this helped you out.

Happy Growing! :bigjoint::peace:

just started using A+B nutes how much and how often do you feed your plants? iv been feeding a cap of each to two litres of water with a ph level of 5.5 every day. am i over feeding?
that depends on your plants and how old they are, i usually start feeding her a and b when shes on her 3 set of leaves, i start at 0.5ml a and b to 1 liter of water, and gradually up your feeds aiming to be 3 to 4 ml of a and b the time she gets in flower, hope this helps, and always start of low with all your nutes and gradually take it to full dose,
hope this helps

i havnt done no foiler feeding yet but will deffo do it on my next run, this is the info i know so far from my pal pukka

you can start stight away in flower right up to the end, every other day

mix it half strength, no need to ph your tap just make sure its sat for a day, it will last a week

just before light on so theres time to dry before the light gets intense

just spray the plant everywhere till its covered

Hows it going guys, I know its probably been cover in this thread but what is the mixing sequence for the canna range( a+b rhizo cannazime - pk and boost) and how long should you let it sit before feeding. Im in canna coco hand watering(feeding) and have problems with the leafs curling up and now getting rust blotches on them. Have 2 plants which are in veg in 25 ltr pots about 5-6 weeks old with one light 400 hps cooltube sitting about 400m above them, thought it might be lock out so flushed with 10ltrs of 5.9ph water with 0.5ml of rhizo per 1ltr. Flushed them 3 times first 2 times was only 10 ltrs then the last 1 last night actually was with 20 ltrs. Just trying to eliminate bits of the puzzle, any help would be appreciated.

PS primo thread jb primo as bit of a life saverIMG_2093.jpgIMG_2094.jpgIMG_2095.jpgIMG_2096.jpg

here's how I do it and it works for me:

Mix A in, stir and shake. Mix B in then shake. Next I do rhizo then shake. Then zyme then shake. Then boost and shake. Then if pk is being used add that then shake. Then I add whatever else like cal/mag which may help clear stop more of those rust spots. Shake and let sit for an hour or two before checking and adjusting the ph. Then shake well before feeding. Hope that helps.

Hey puff not sayin your wrong or nothin but jberry always taught on here to mix your cal/mag in 1st an give it a good old mix before anythin else, somethin to do with it can caurse other stuff to lock out! and to do the rhiz after that cos it raises the ph, so your not goin down then back up and back down again if you get what i mean, i always go calmag, rhiz, a&b, cannazym, pk then the boost if im usin.

Yeah I heard that some people do it that way too. I don't think there is really a wrong way to do it other than mixing a & b directly together. but what you say makes a lot of sense. Funny thing is, that most of the time after mixing everything together, I don't even need to adjust the ph at all, gotta love CANNA!!

Hello there. I am about to start a grow with cana coco + nutes and got some questions.
1) Should i water with standard ph 5.8 in regular base or it depends on runoff's ph?
2) Can i use Calcium and Magnesium from Canna additives instead of cal/mag? If yes which ammount of each would be ok?
3) Finnaly, should we use PK13/14 from the beggining of flowering or its better after 3rd week?

Thanks a lot for help, keep up the good work!

grobari,
Yes 5.8 is what to shoot for. + - .2
Read the bottle you want to use. My experience is that using canna will still make you need to add cal/mag.
imho its better to use the pk starting as soon as you start to see hairs. light and working the dose up.
Hope this helps.
