I can't say unless you can tell me where I can find out the npk of those dutch nutes. Just a guess though I would say odds are it wouldn't help.

Well all shooting powder has is a lot of p and k. I know adding it isn't going to cause any magic reaction that will kill your plants. You can try it but you just have to be careful not to burn them. I would imagine sumo and bud booster both already have a lot of p and k. That's what you really need to find out.

your base nutes come out to 2.25-2.06-1.695. When your flowering you want to bring up the pk but we don't know what the npk of your additives are really. Shooting powder is 0-42-27 so it's pretty concentrated compared to what you're using. If you want to try just adding a little. Like I said it's not magic so it's not going to hurt anything unless you add to much crap in and burn your plants or get your ratios way off.

You're right. I guess they haven't updated there site. I can't wait till I can switch to some better nutes.

Also just to throw it out there Bender you might want to consider switching to some better nutes as well. Those cash crop nutes look like a bunch of bs to me. Not saying they wont grow plants but I'm willing to bet you can find something that is cheaper, easier to use, actually tells you what is in it, and is better for your plants.

well there are 2 different ways to get a NPK value....... europe and usa both use different methods... so when looking at npk, u should know which version u are looking at.
(some companies list both)

I have been using H&G for a short time and im relatively new to growing but i am amazed at the results . I use their full line of products except the Magic Green. I do add cal-mag , superthrive and fulvic acid to deal with ph and R/O issues and as preventive measure but i am totaly happy with the results. Check it out. i did read a few replays concerning ph and i read that the low ph is due to the microbia induction and it should self regulate a few hours later ,thats why the tell you to check you ph after adding a& b before adding additives .

Roots Excellator is your superthrive and then some. so you dont need it. just wasting money buying it, imho

All of the A&B base nutrients in the House & Garden line have 11-12% calcium included in the "A" bottle, so again... you dont need the cal/mag it is just a waste of money and you could possibly burn your plants

and third...you do know the more you mix in other brands the more problems you will have, right? h & g works fine by itself...never see any problems til you start mixing stuff.

and yes i do run RO water 000-001ppms


just a thought though.

Hey bro, I notice there is not fulvic/humic acids in H&G.

Would it be beneficial to add liquid karma, or diamond nectar or some other fulvic acid additive.

Thanks for your input mate. I do understand and believe in KISS philosophy although if possible can you tell me is there any other reason why you wouldn't add some fulvic acid additives.

That isn't the case my experience. I have waited over night to re-check the ph and it was still under 4. I use advanced nutrients ph up to get it back up to 5.5.

not bothering me at all


and because i dont grow in soil...thas why i wouldnt.

also, i grow in coco and still probably wouldnt fuck with it

I use humic acid with great results in coco, fulvic and humic acids have been shown to be VERY effective when used in soil-less mixes. Back in the day there was no coco coir and many growers swore by Sunshine #4, GH three-part and Diamond Nectar (fulvic acid).

Humic acid also provides a beneficial food source for beneficial mycorrhizae which have also been shown to greatly improve results in coco-coir.

Canna is some good stuff I would like to try it but for now my Piece Coir seems to be pretty dialed in. If I can find a bag of this stuff I will definitely try it out though.

bcuzz is steam cured and has nutes added to it, have heard of run off as high as 1400 ppm.

Canna isn't steamed so still has trichoderma, but it is flushed well.

Botanicare Cocogro is like coco, except it is flushed with 3 seasons of rain water.
