IMG_20160227_123924526.jpg It arrived today.

I will get them started before long. I've got two finishing lower buds. I am also building a 6x6x8 room and going to 600 hid.

I have some of the lumber and other materials. I say within the next 5-7 days I'll have them started.

Thanks goes to the Vault. I appreciate it guys.

Far out! Thanks for your input and advice! I will look forward to seeing your pics. From what I understand, the rule of thumb for autos is to not cut on them at all, but I am finishing up a grow of one auto that I trimmed daily. It didn't die but I have a feeling that if I had left it alone that it would have had a lot more bud sites on it. So this time, I am going to make an effort to not cut on this plant at all, but I will see. I panicked when it was just coming out of veg because it looked like it was about to out grow my Tron so I pruned and topped the b'jesus out of it. If I get more than an ounce of bud out of it I will consider it a successful project and keep my Tron; if not then I trade it in for a ballast...time will tell. Anyway, to make a short story long, because I have a tendency to babble, I really appreciate your input and advice and will look forward to seeing your pics. :peace:

Here are some of those pics. The first one is a close up of a top about 2 weeks from finish. Next is the shorter one then another top and a pic of the big one. I cant seem to find the pic with both next to each other but the big one was about a foot taller than the short one.

Incredible pics! Thanks for putting those up. Ripley can't compete with the cola that you produced but she does have some good looking tops. However, your grow smokes mine...I think anyway. I start flushing tomorrow and will check trics twice per day after the first week of flushing. I will post pics as she develops for your review and hopefully input, advice and whatever criticisms you can offer.

Thanks again for the benchmark, you've really helped me out!

Thanks for the kind words. I grow TLO style and have been loving my results. If you go all organic you don't have to flush or anything, so it's actually a lot less work and I don't have to buy bottled nuted. If you ever get a chance to read True Living Organics be The Rev I highly recommend that book. Gives all the info you need for real organics
I will be keeping an eye on what you have going on.

Sorry, I got my threads confused. I should have said you have set the bar really high and I don't know whether or not I will be able to compete with what you did but I will certainly give it a go! I am kinda committed to Dutch Pro nutes at this point as I have purchased some nutes of theirs for my current auto project and being that my next project will be an auto as well I can't afford to discard the nutes that I have. However, for what it's worth, I did find a website by The Rev that goes into full detail of how to use TLO. My wife would really appreciate the tips of organic gardening so I will pass this along to her so she can start using those techniques and teach them to me so I can incorporate them in my future grows that do not involve autos.

Yes, please keep an eye on my project and comment, ridicule or advise as necessary as I am just now coming to an end to my very FIRST successful grow, thanks to The Vault for supplying a near foolproof strain. I have tried a few grows in the past and something inevitably goes way wrong and the results have been way below par at best. Because of the fact that you have run this strain in the past it would mean a lot to me if you could advise me as my grow progresses. I feel a lot better about this project now. Not only because of what you have shown me but I ran across a few threads on autoflower.net authored by people who have run this strain with great results and based on what I have seen and read I think that this strain may be perfect for me. It appears that it wil fit into my Tron just fine and like the Alien cross that I am finishing up, it seems that they are very forgiving of feeding, light and handling mistakes so I think that I should be ok with this. But, again, it makes me feel so much better knowing that you have my back.

Thanks for helping me out and I will post pics and updates just as soon as I get this project going.

I'm all set. Just waiting to hear my package shipped. I'm gonna run my 400mh next to the 600hps for the blue spec so I can veg a few for my summer grow. Debating on 3 or 5g smart pots. Might do one of each and do 1 outdoors. Since I don't want to move anything to another tent, it's gonna be packed in there till the other aliens are done. I may have to send them to a buddies to finish up for me.
Congrats Uni for the first grow! Awesome feeling growing your own medicine!

Thanks Twistedentities! Yep, you are right it feels great to complete a grow successfully for the first time. But y'know, you gave me great advice along the way too so you are partially responsible for my success. Thanks and kuddos to you too!

Well I hope mine show up soon, I just started germing the ladies I intend to run with these Heisenbergs ;) . My plan is to run 2 of these, 2 Alien x Triangle, and 2 Sweet Seeds Black Cream freebies for a comparison. I'll be using a 600w MH for most (or all?), maybe switching to HPS to finish. I have some pairs of pots but not 6 of any size, so I'll have to figure that out. I have 2 5gal smart pots, 2 ProCan #5 (3.8gal?), and 2 big ones around 7gal, so if anyone has any feedback on which need/don't need more pot space?

My atx didn't have a lot of root. It filled half of my 5g smart. I picked up some 3 g smart pots yesterday and may run all the autos in them. Not sure on the others you'll run
Thanks, yeah my AxTs were in the #5 pots which I think are 3.8g and they were happy, I may try to free up a few more of those in place of the 7gals, but I think I'll have to use the 2 5gal smarts.

We have lift off !!!!! This time around i am testing different soil's and compost. The one on the right is in organic store brought soil and store brought compost. The one on the left is from my recycled soil and homemade compost. both will be giving Earth Juice nut's and under a 600 watt lighting system. They germinated in less than 24 hours and were planted on 02/27/2016 or 27/02/2016 for my friends across the pond :) I will be doing the same test on my Professor paul seed's (gonna do a journal for them).Heisenberg Special.jpg

Neat! I am very interested in the results. Please keep me "posted" on the progress and if you start a new journal to compare the two please let me know so I can follow along. Good luck!
