Plants are getting a beat down. It's been over 105 for the last week and supposed to be over 100 for the next two weeks.

Forgot to add this tid but of hell earlier. Anyways so when do realized I had a barrier layer of Demetrius earth down in the soil I started using a thin rod (thin like a meat thermometer long like a car antenna) to punch 2 to 3 holes down into the soil every few waterings. This was eliminated the slow intake and plants receive actual water needed now. YAY

_---------_---++--+

crap mg soil and now using wild rabbit poop tea for nutrients.

I used a tiny tiny dose of ferti lome root stimulator. About a tsp to 2.5 gallons, directions are 3tbs per gallon. Yes I understand it's virtually nothing. Plants have perked up quite a bit. ( Had it, so used it )

Today is a sad ☹ day. This morning I buried my dog Shy. Shy was attacked and killed by what appears to be another mountain lion. One of my other dogs Sky has a few scrapes and small puncture wounds luckily she survived. I followed the mountain lions tracks about a mile through the ️ desert. The mountain lion suffered some good damage as I found one small blood pool about 1/2 mile from my property where it stopped to clean itself. I will be spending the next few days getting my remaining dogs back into patrolling the property as a pack (the two dogs having puppies has completely stopped them from patrolling as a pack). I am unsure if the Mt lion took enough damage to outweigh the possible food source (my dogs) and not come back so for the next week I will be spending my nights outside with the mp5 at least until these dogs get back into there rhythm of patrolling together.

Shy you will be missed.

So the baby hoppers went on the offensive last night. I lost 1 branch off an a gg, numerous random leaves from everything and the top two leaves on a cc. (Not even a fim, just the two leaves) BASTARDS . There's really nothing I can do about them besides some form of pesticide that I won't use. I may load the entire ground area in the garden with Demetrius earth and hope they die before they eat much more. Large hoppers only seem to go for the leaf material but the babies like to circle around a stem eating it until it either breaks off or cannot transfer liquid anymore.

I used to have an air pump I could load up with Demetrius earth and basically fog the entire area with Demetrius earth but I can't find the stupid thing. Probably left it at the other property.

I am probably going to drop some boxes on a few plants starting tonight and removing an hour or so after sun up to initiate flowering so that I can have some smoke before the rest are done.

So I've had a nitrogen problem for a little bit now on the gorilla girls. Being as I am a cheap bastard that hates waiting and the fact there is no grow stores or even stores that sell any kind of decent plant food I said fuck it and bought ...... Can you guess? Feel the death sentence? Miracle grow all purpose. Yep, I have lost my mind and risking the winters smoke on MG. I will be using .25 tsp per gallon until flowering stretch happens and stops. Yes there are 1000000 better, cheaper etc nutrients but not here and thats no joke. And like I said at this point I don't have time to wait for ups fedex etc. Xning my fingers. Let's see. (Either way such a low dosage shouldn't do anything harmful unless I already have a root problem .

I will take some pics tomorrow morning. So far everything seems fine. You can definitely tell they have wanted some nutrients as they have shot up with loads of new growth in just 4hrs. Gorilla girl is looking way better already. This is the part that is scary because everything could go south in a matter of hours. As long as I don't see any negative effects by morning I'll continue on until flowering starts.

Any hotter and I think the plants are gonna freak out. 110f+ and plants are full sun from sunup to sundown. I will cut out the mg tomorrow since I have had to water numerous times because of the beyond insane heat so far today so surely there's stacking going on.

Ok so I am pretty sure I have every type of grasshopper, cricket and spider in my garden. This guy was just munching down. Nothing I can do unless I netted it all. Powders and sprays rely on them eating the plant material anyways so that's counter productive. I've come to grips that I am feeding every damn hopping and crawling bug there is and suck up the occasional branch that has been gnawed off. I live in the flipping desert ️ wtf are the damn lizards. It's like the only place they don't want to go is the garden

So today I removed all the lower large fan leaves leaving the top 3 to 4 sets. Nothing major. Only defoliation that will be done this year
