Thursday Night Chop Down!

The creator of herb IQ got back to me and explained what i was doing wrong. for those interested, here is the rundown.

under the nute supplies, the field marked total amount must have a number in it. now I'm not using this to monitor the amount of nutes i have so i entered 999.

then when you enter it in the mix and feed section, it must be a whole number. it does not accept decimals. Some plants I'm only using 1/2 a dose, well the program doesn't let you enter 0.5. so as a work around i simply enter 1 for every 1/4. so when i review it later i will know that 4 servings is a full dose. 8 for a double dose.hehe

it will then track all the nutes given under the events tab on the plants page, per plant!!! it works really well once you get it set up.

some of these new strains and lights are considered testing for me, I would like to keep track of all the info i can. having Data is never a bad thing!!!

Let us know Irieking how it goes. I definitely decided to do VK and LSD for my next seed order. I'm going to do 2 of each in a huge scrog(first time scrog woo hoo!)

Yes great talking to ya again stoney. I had a real Satvia pheno of the TD as well but I killed it after the person I got it from reported to me that his flowered for over 112 days and never got dense and yield was minimal.

I hope my buds get some more density. I mean they are fairly dense but nothing like the Nirvana Ice bud density of my last harvest they were rock hard. I did cut these 2 down a bit early at 59 days. I wanted to have some real Racey TD and I suceeded in that I have 14 more of them to chop going to let them go til around halloween I think hehe, Maybe we will be harvesting some TD's on the same day.

Glad you figured out your nute mix too. Kinda confused me lol is that for the Jack's?

heyy stoney u may wanna top or fim the floja cross tho. ive fimmed the floja plenty of times.. and i kno HC did it to all 7 of his and they respond really well to it... u may wanna try it with ur cross. i think it would respond really nicely

I didn't fim chris. I topped it once and then later tied down the two tops. Fimmimg is where you try to create multiple tops with one cut by cutting midway through your top and leave the bottom half of that top flower. Does that make sense lol

I caught quite a bit of the 2 previous episodes that were on before but my chick came home around 10 so I didna catch the new one.

Drag, the new one was pretty good, ok mostly it was good. Passed out about 3/4 of the way through lol
Also they are usually pretty good, only seen a couple that were meh.

a simutanous chop od the TD's sounds really cool!!!! and yea, i'm digging the herb IQ now that i got to mess with it more!! I use jacks and fox farms in rotation , so i helps me keep them straight.

I have two SS x floja growin and they look almost identical. I'll top one and see the difference.

yea, you didn't miss much with the new one. I thought it was gonna be good and it turned into a flop!!!

yep, same thing here... only i didn't wait till i fell asleep. i turned it off after about half way. i agree, they're usually better. maybe next week!!!

I hate listening to their speculation but really love seeing the ruins of the ancient civilations and the texts and sandscripts that tell their history. And it's always similiar stories all around the world then. Of course those couldn't be true, that's just the writings of a primitve people who didna know anything and besides, it was just to long ago to be true hehe ; !)

I checked out that Herbiq program. Didnt quiet see how it would help me out. What is it providing for you?

yeaaa i kno wat ur sayin HC. i just usually FIM mine. just seems to work better and faster for me. i usually end up with 2 - 3 tops. once in a while 4.

It's a good show, some of the speculation is seems more plausible than the accepted position. It certainly leads you to wonder when ancient civilizations that were supposedly so primitive were in command of science and artistry that can't even be duplicated today.

I struggled on the net framework install. I hate that program! but i caved and installed it for the sake of herb IQ

not much bro!!! things are growing well. all my clones are now vegging and just waiting for the next harvest.... and bubblin some deisel!!! we usually go out on friday nights but it's raining and i don't feel like driving. how about you? how are you?

That is exactly why i watch it. to see the cool structures and to hear the fact part of the narration. the speculation is just tolerated at best.

sometimes i fim, sometimes i top.... it's all what I'm feeling at the moment. usually the first time i grow a breed i like to let her all natural and see what her baseline is like.

It def gets ya thinking!!! makes us all feel like specks of dust when it all comes down to it sometimes. I hope one day an archaeologist finds my grow room and captures some of the DNA in these great new strains I've been getting, and repopulates the world with some super dankity dank!!!! hahaha

definitely though Herb iq was a different program.....It'll be nice to keep a log of flowering times and stuff for breeding later. Any other useful programs I should know about?

just a small update for you guys.... everything is growing just great, and my QQ and C4CB got their first feeding of bloom nutes. They have been flowering for two weeks now. The QQ is the queen of my jungle!!! here she is up front in the middle, and one of her bud. Am I the only one in America to be flowering this breed right now?

Thanks bro!! it's 45" x 45". I am also working on a new veg cabinet for the winter. It will also be 45 x 45, maybe a little bit skinnier, I need to move some tables and other storage out of the way first. I have 95% of the supplies already. I'm still working on a few details in my head yet. It's going to be using the intake of my flower box for the exhaust of the veg box. this will stabilize my temps really nice this winter. and it will be one less wall i need to build!! I might make it a little shorter though. not sure yet, probably go the full 7 foot just cuz i can. It will be a great fall project for me!!
