thats a 70 watt HPS and about 280 watts of cfl

yea man i work construction with my uncle and we they were throwing out a whole bunch of 70 watt HPS so i just took one:wall::wall::wall::wall:i shud have took like 5

Gmac yea I know ur banging ur head now man.. I think those little 50 watters where like 28 bux last i checked.. Its funny to that its alot easier to keep a small grow cool with those lil hps lamps as compared to cfl's. They will heat up a box real fast..
Just wait till u run across a couple more man. Grow looks good to man. Nothing wrong with growing with what u got.

hell yea man thats free light! shit get a bunch of em!depending on how many plants u growing,i would have atleast 1 for each plant or 2.

Whaddup all hope yall had a good day and ate alot.
Just daily report.
Did a partial res change today. About 1/2 and brought my ppm back to 1800 with a fat P/K boost of kool Bloom and A shot of Cal-mag. With a shot of diamond nectar to open up the viens.
Fisrt time i pushed the P/K this hard to be honest. But they seemed to get nice and crystalized last water change when i began supplementing. Im hoping to see a nice BUD growth spurt as well as some more frosting. Seems like they stopped vertical growth. Only 4 inches of head room left before i just start wrapping them back down to the floor!
Im going to get some bush master to beat the next batch up for real.
Im going to see if this shit really works. Because if it does. Then well the next tub is going to be a masterpiece.
Thats all i got now.:blsmoke:

Dl, man do you think ill have probs with heat with that 400w. hid setup i ordered in a cooltube with a fan in a GrowLab growtent(2'x2'x5'7",bghydro)i might have to do some ducting work to put on the ends of the cooltube,it doesnt really get that hot, though.The ballast will be outside the tent.A cooltube makes a fukload of difference.!

Purps man Im running my 400 inside a vented hood bro. With a 110 cfm inline fan cooled. My plants have actually grown into the glass with no ill effects so far. Im out of head room and not to comfortable with allowing them to stay so close man.
In my experience after the flower stretch is done they like a little distance to bask and plump man.
To date tho. They have stayed consistently close to 4 inches average from my lamp.

Its a hole other ball game uncooled man. In a tube u should be fine. even push it id say to help keep stretch down bro.

Im keeping my uncooled about 12 inches away right now on my babies. And thinking about giving them even a little more room as well.

I'm sure everyone went through it. At first I thought the server was just down, until the database error message finally appeared. Either it was manually taken down to do site maintenance (I had to do this when I ran forums, or else anything posted during the maintenance would be lost), or else the database itself was down due to server connection error, etc.
