I am determined to get the WW to maturity. I have made a tapr cover that I can easily pull over the plant. If it gets real cold I have a propanne buddy heater I can run during the coldest of nights. We'll see how it turns out. Around here almost everyone crops 3-4 weeks too early as it gets so cold and woods fill with hunters....

When you guys think you will harvest? I'm lookin at mid to late October, but I'm a little worried about the weather cooling down to fast.

Im upstate, you should be good to mid-october. First frost around here on average is oct 1st. Your plants should be able to survive the first couple frosts though.

I think anyting into the high 20's your plants will do OK for a couple of frosts. I tied my down and LST'd them so they would be easy to cover if I had to. My only late bloomer is the Jacky White and it is 6 weeks into flowering already. The JW is already covered with "sugar".

Found two plants blown down from high winds this weekend. The stalks were ok, dug a hole for each pot and made sure they won't blow down again. Reinforced all the plants, watered. I think the earliest will be the first week of october, the sativa might not finish, the buds are very long and have many pistils but lack a ton of trichomes, they seem long and stringy. All plants smell very good, seem healthy. Noticed many fan leaves yellowing on the main branch. Will post some pics later.

Mine are buried in Roots Organics bags, so I didn't get anything actually blown over. Here are updates on Biddy Early and Jacky White. I just took photos as the sun came up this morning.

It was a beautiful morning to be amongst the plants, wasn't it? Your Biddy looks like it wants to finish with a bang. They look real healthy.

I had one split and two blowovers from the winds, but they're all patched up.

I got a few plants that are about 5 weeks into flower and the rest are only about 2. It concerns me that I am probably going to have to harvest them early.

Yeah, I'm in upstate NY too. My plants have only been flowering 2-3 weeks. I'm hoping they will make it. Last year the weather was decent into november but it was an unusual fall. If the frosts are not that hard, the plants can still keep growing, albeit slow. Let's hope we have a long indian summer.

Hey balzac, your plants look great.

Best of luck to all ny growers!

I have that LONNNNGGGG finishing Jacky White. I rigged up some tarps and propane heaters for the days reaching into finishing time. I just hope some deer poacher doesn't run into my set-up!

I had to kill my Biddy Early because of Bud Rot.....Jacky White looks good though. Buds on the Biddy got way too big.
