SHIT! It won't let me watch because I don't have some bullshit on my computer.

But I'm very interested in it, so are we talking reptile heat lamps?

So to my understanding from the comments I could read it irritates the plant and the plant using thc like when our eye is irritated and we use tears.

Help would be appreciated

I;ve read about it. it sounds reasonable. and yes it is reptile heat lamps... other than that I know nothing... worth a try though.

no not they heat lamps. the heat in those lamps comes from inferred. thats not want you want. the lamps you wanna get are the uv only lamps. they dont have that pesky IR heat. you can get them from 5% to 10%, 10% being the most uv waves per light.

they have reptile heat lamps that are supost to emit only UV waves, and not Ir. I only know this because I used to have one for some pets.

Great video, deffinately gonna give it a try. H'es probably wrong about the potency of weed in itself over the last 30 years though. My dad tells me all the time how much stronger weed is now.

i could be wrong, but ive had a ton-o-lizards and snakes. the uv bulb doesnt give off heat to help. the ir is for the heat. the uv is to help them motabilize their food. if they dont have the uv they will get calcium deposits that are painful and can be deadly to the animal. but like i said,,,, i could be mistaken. ima lil to stoned to remember every detail right now

Or you could just buy a proper 5 foot uvb tube

now i know why i cant get any like i useto grow. i use to use a top taning bed light assembly it now all makes sence! and i dont have it ant more my ex girlfriend took it when she moved out 10 years ago

5ft UVB Tubes can be purchased at any pet store that sells reptile accessories. Also did a little research an Halogen lights emit UVB and are often used in hospitals to sterilize the air. Only problem is they get hot as all hell, but ytou can pick up a Halogen Worklight for $15 or under at most hardware stores.

the guy says that reptile lights work... its been awhile since I had the bulb though... and I didnt pay much atention back then.
I want a UVB light now!!! do they have them smaller than 5 feet?

I watched the marawana man vid a while back now and checked them out then,they appear to fit into any shop light fitting as long as its the correct rating and size i.e. voltage amps watts etc.
I am totally skint right now,empty,broke for real,but on my next grow im buying one asap

As a side not try to bear in mind that you will be making more heat so allow for extra cooling

Has anyone seen the results of the uvb light ( a journal or something ) or used one themselves?

I looked at petco and they have a couple uvb lights but it says it also emmits uva. their from 25.99 to like 46.99

this is some deep shit! he's going far too scientific for my stoner brain to understand. lol.

I don't believe it matters if it emits UVA or UVC as well, you gotta remember that everything grows fine when they get UVA,B, and C from the sun anyways.
