Veg and flower tents in one room, how should I handle climate control?

I live in Missouri and just got my patient cultivation card. I spent 4 years working at a SOG grow op in my teens and Im copying the ebb and flow w/ rockwool style on a small scale. I own a home, but I have roomates, so I am relegated to my spare bedroom, which is roughly10x10x8 with 2 windows. I have 2 4x4 tents, one for flower, one for veg/clones. I plan on doing a semi perpetual grow where the clones become the mothers and the mothers become the flowers. If this doesnt work, Ill set up a cloning station, but back to the titular question...

How should I keep the temperatures in check? If youre unaware, missouri gets pretty hot and humid during the summer and Ive read that each tent has its own unique requirements. Should I look for the sweet spot in the general room temp/humididty and let my ventilation do the rest of the work, or should I treat each tent like its own ecosystem? What do you folks do?

For what its worth, Im using LED lights and I am keeping my flower tent at a slight negative pressure with a 4 inch intake fan, 6 inch exaust fan, and the advanced cloudline controller to maintain said pressure at all times. The plan is to vent outside, and I will be using a carbon filter. I went ahead and purchased inkbird controllers for humidity and temp because fuck it, in for a penny in for a pound.

Thank you for your time. -TB

Hey @Tolerance Break, i dont think it's sooooooo important to have different climate control for flowering or vegging. But in the same room, around 40% works well. Usually vegging a little higher (60%) does the job. In flowering, to avoid mites and mold, little lower (35-45%) works fine. I live near from a Dam (to take water for 10 million people, so its a huge one) and humidity here comes to 100% at some point, take a walk and have a free bath. Today, 3 weeks without rain (autumn), its around 45%, and flowers are outdoors. For cloning all the world claims to get 90%, which is still not necessary, since i got 10 clones last week just chopping it and sticking to the ground without any kind of hormone and control. They all are fine.
There are humidifiers and dehumidifiers (you got it? english is my third language =| ) if you reallly want to control it. This is a little advanced to me.

Stick in a window AC that will work with your watts and a put dehumidifier in there. If the weather is right, stick in a window fan in one window and open the other window. Keeps the temps in the room the temps for flower. I use ACinfinity fans as exhaust fans for the tent... if you get the upgraded controllers, they can regulate speed based on temps/rh. You can use them to get the temps in the veg room a little higher if you dial them in right-- i personally don't bother though-- plants will still veg with "flower" temps/rh... a bit slower. I use a custom environment controller, but if you need one, there are plenty out there.

I use LED and my temps are 28 in the day and 25 at night. 55% rh day and night. Good luck.

I grow in Missouri and have 4 tents all in the same room. I do exactly what you do. Each tent has a 4inch intake, and a 6inch exhaust, the exhausts all meet into one 12inch exhaust booster fan and then out of the house. Each tent has its own carbon filter as well. During lights on I keep the tents open, lights off the flowering tents get closed and the veg stay partially open. I run a dehu 24/7 in the room, keeps the humidity in the room at 35-40% and air conditioned, the intakes pull in that air and usually keep my tents at 65-70 with a 60%rh at night and 75-80 with a 55-60% rh during the day. Idk if that helps.

I live in oklahoma city, and i am having the same issue with heat from my setup. i have 2 small desk fans running to cool it off. i cant run a hose out the window as its the front yard. i also use a small dehumidifier to help pull out the extra humidity out of the air so its not so muggy and hot.

Thank you for your reply! Out of curiousity, what benefits do you find from keeping the tents open while using an intake and exhaust fan?

Im curious, when you say

Just let’s the dehu work a little more efficiently esp bc I find more water aspiration from the plants during lights on and right when lights are off. So it gives my plants the chance for more air flow out and in imo. If you can’t keep them open like that then that might not work, the intakes only run at night when tents closed

Im undecided on what my light schedule will look like, still learning something new every day. This info really helps. Thank you.
