Water cured a quarter

so i harvested one of my plants and deceided to water cure it so i could smoke a blunt on my bday. i smoked a joint of it today. it did the job.

it looked pretty cool because my buds had a ton of orange hairs on it. after i cured it it make the green and orange darker. so the orange really stands out, almost like neon. i smoked a bowl of it and got that white ash, so i guess it worked. it still smelled planty when i smelled the buds up close, however, the taste wasnt planty at all when smoked.

the way i did it was put my buds in a tupperware, put a plate on top, and then filled with water. changed the water daily. another thing that sucked it it kinda squashed my buds(with the plate on it) so that prob took away from bag appeal more than anything(the sides that got squashed look almost compressed). its all personal anyhow. i was also suprised on how fast it dried from the water. with a fan blowing on it, it was 100% dry in about 16 hours.

After smoking non cured weed the last 2 weeks, I wish I woulda water cured a lot more than just this quarter. But whatev. Ill take some pics later of what it looks like. I could prob pass this off for real deal hydro even tho its some homegrown bagseed.

ps- smoking hash oil everyday for 2 weeks dramatically increases your tolerance for weed.

Good report. When you say your buds got "squashed" because of the plate, I'm not sure I follow. Did you place the plate on top of the tupperware or actually touching the buds?

Noob, it works for what I've read but be aware that if you love the aroma and taste of a finely cured herb, you won't get it water curing. It's one of the downsides of the rapid cure - you lose the taste and the appearance. However, for those that can't wait 5+ weeks to dry and cure, this is a viable alternative.

I don't know about that one. I DO know that when I cured mine the traditional method, the potency improved. Having never done a water cure, I wouldn't be qualified to answer on potency.

Yea, water cureing is best if you didn't flush, or you wanna little smoke that's easy on the lungs.

I water cured a bit 100% by the book, and it was much worse than air cure by far.

i smoked a blunt and 2 fat joints of my water cured shit. it actually broke up and ended up to about a half. i got nothing but compliments from them. in all 3 i spread out hash oil over the papers/blunt. kinda tasted like sweet tea. got like 10 people stoned as fuck. i was the only one pro enough to not bow out on all 3.

coo and like the post said about water curing " increase the potency" ????
To say that you get increased potency from water curing is very misleading.

Here's a fact that no-one can dispute -

If you water cure 100 grams of bud and air cure 100 grams of bud, the THC content of what you get out of both curing methods is EXACTLY the same at the end of the curing period.

The main difference is, weight for weight, the water cured bud will contain more THC than the air cured bud will, but you'll have a greater quantity of air cured bud than water cured bud.

So, if you smoke the same amount of water cured bud as you would air cured bud, you'll get higher but will run out of bud quicker.

If you want to do the same thing with air cured bud - smoke another joint.

It sounds like your advising to go for quantity over quality,
all the hambugers in the world will never equal a filet mignon.
you must have missed read
