I knew a person who used grape juice about 11 years ago and it didn't seem to do anything on his plants. I use unsulfured molasses and get sweet results with it, just give a good watering with it about 10 days before estimated harvest time. :peace: p.s. they don't turn purple though.
The purple coloration is genetic or a response to colder temps or both.
Grape juice has nothing to do with it.

And it couldn't possibly have happened without the grape juice.

Biology - it's not just for scientist's.

All I know is what I saw, smoked, and tasted after he added the Welch's grape juice. As a matter of fact, I'm going to do it to 2 of my white diesel sensi's that are in 3rd week of flowering.

Why is it that there aren't any accomplished and experienced growers chiming in to agree with the ideas espoused in this thread? Carbo-loading the plant is one thing, but are we really trying to tell impressionable new growers that all you need for some purple dope is to water with grape juice? For fuck's sake people, this is why nobody takes you seriously.

That crap is the stuff I thought about doing at 13 years old. Let's see some pics of your grape draank plants.Oh I bet you don't have a cam.

View attachment 3584313 I'll add the Welch's Grape Juice to these 2.
I would like to see actual video of grape juice being fed to the plants.

I just don't believe it. I can make just about any plant purple. Mainly cold. I let cold hit mine.

I won't give you crap either. I think its silly but its your plants and if pouring grape juice to them makes you happy, more power to you. That's all that matters is your pursuit of happiness.

I go against the grain on a lot of what popular cannabis techniques say.

For one is the ideal temps. We have summers excess of 100 and high humidity. I've seen pure indica's do just fine. I've seen a lot of pure bred sativa's handle repeated frost in the 20's. I prefer mine to go through cold weather.

Most would tell you that's not good. I would say not many have seen what a week in the 40's will do. Or a week in the 30's.

Have fun man.

At those temps it makes the plant think winter is approaching and it goes into a survival stage causing hairs and crystal's to form to protect it from the cold.
