That's why during the time of year they are flowering temps go down...nature takes care of nature...it's a cycle the plant has survived on since the beginning of time.....

Im still into the 100's at least half way thru flower. Won't see 90's until the end of September.

^^^shocked me last sep was the hottest month 100s. Was like wtf. Def gave me some foxtailing issues.

i have 2 smaller girls flowering right now One is in 5 gal and Two is in 10 gal pots only symptoms are having to water everyday lol and just some minor burns on the leaves from the plastic pots they absorb the heat, next year im going to use smart pots they don't get hot like the plastics do


Yesterday was 108 they took it like a champ cant wait to dry these out and let em burn!

Are you guys applying nutes more often in this heat? I usually add fertilizer every other watering which works out to roughly 1 feeding a week, but I'm watering every other day right now and I don't want to give these girls too much.

Should I switch to feed, water, water, feed until it cools down?

i have fed every watering, you just have to ph your feed so that you don't end up with salt or acid build up in your soil it can stunt growth.

I'm not on the west coast but can I complain too? Well I'm gonna!! During my last grow we went 12months without a measurable amount of rainfall and 90 something days over 100 degrees ugh but seems to be cooler this summer I think only 14 days or so over 100, actually broke a couple record lows not too long ago.

Thanks will do. I'm using maxsea which seems pretty mild. I'm also waiting till the cooler evening to use them. During the heat of the day I just give any thirsty plants a light drink of plain water.

105 deg. today 28% humidity, home ac is chokin the bone, plants need fed. maybe this weekend when temps are in 90's idk, hate to kill em feeding. Im gettin shade cloth here custom cut 28X40 n see what happens.

Just priced it out it was 245 with grommets for that 26X40 ft piece, Not exactly sure what percentage to use. Someone had said before around 50% blockage.

30% is just fine. I'm using their 40% now and it's overkill.
